I know not everyone here celebrates the Sabbats, but for those who do - you'll know there isnt long until Imbolc/Lammas (depending of where you live). Does anyone have anything planned?
Once again, I doubt I'll get to celebrate. I tried to do a Yule ritual last time, and due to the lack of space here and the clutter, I ended up getting my leg caught and falling over, twisting my already incapasitated foot. It certainly wasnt a euphoric night, lol. I think I'll just light some candles and some incense, and do a bit of research and reading to celebrate. Keep it safe until I move somewhere bigger.

I'm celebrating it, but I've no idea exactly how. I'll be going up to CUUPS for their open circle on the 30th. Coven Sabbat is on the 7th. I'm not hosting so I'm not sure how it's gonna go.
I'm currently working on an article with ideas for celebrating Lammas. It will be on Pagan Parenting at Suite101 (link is in my sig). It's easily adaptable for all ages so check it out in a few days.

Somehow I thought it was Lughnasadh which was August 1st... or am I just sketchy on my research? Hrmmm...

I'd like to do something, but I don't know if I'll be able to...
I'm not even sure what I would do if I could!
Hopefully there will be something though, even if it's small.

Lughnasadh and Lammas are (most often) referring to the same sabbat, which is Aug. 1 (or 2 sometimes) in the Northern Hemisphere. There may be some differences between them... I'm not entirely sure, but I have seen the words used interchangably...
In the Southern Hemisphere, Imbolc falls on August 1.

I'll be celbrating Hlafmaesse (the anglo-saxon harvest festival from which 'Lammas' is derived) although will most likely celebrate it when the farmers round here start harvesting, rather than a set date, as my ancestors would have :)
Just a meal with my family; homemade bread with cheese, some thick pea broth... :)

I'm thinking of looking up covens in the areas who I saw did open circle for sabbats etc. Unfortunately there aren't many close to my area, but I think I saw one or two.

We're going to have a picnic on a hill nearby and play some games. I may do a private ritual as well, but I haven't finished putting it together yet.

Sacrificing the god, burning our sacrifices (in the form of what we want to rid ourselves of) and having a little light din-din afterwards.

I'm going to do a subtle ritual in baking a loaf of bread, as it's hard to do any sort of ritual in my summer house. Then I'll probaby meditate for a bit.

Myself and two other coven members will be doing a full ritual as we always do for the Sabbats. We will be making Corn Dolly's as a craft (dolls made from corn husks to celebrate the beginning of the harvest) and I thiknk I am making bread andLavender lemonade for cakes and ale...yumm!!
