Something strange has arrived in my neck o' the woods. I saw something emanating from the mountains just south of Bozeman, possobly as far south as Yellowstone park, but it's kind of hard to tell. I don't suppose there's anyone else nearby who knows of this, is there? I have a pretty good feeling about whatever has arrived, but I was also a little freaked out because I rode my bike right through a ghost while I was too busy looking at the sky to pay attention to where I was going. So here I am, kind of excited, kind of freaked out, wondering what's going to happen next. Hopefully Yellowstone Park doesn't explode. That would kind of suck.

Something emanating from the mountains? Sounds interesting. What did it look like? Was it some sort of light or vapor? Was this at night or during the day? If night, I assume it glowed, and if so, what color was it? Was there any sound associated with it that you could tell? Did this emanating something go straight up from the mountains, or did it sort of radiate out in all directions? Have I asked you enough questions?

It was near midnight, but there was a faint light radiating out in all directions behind the mountains. It wasn't the moon, because that was plainly visible elsewhere in the sky. Usually, if anything mystical visits this area, it's either south or west of here. These mountains have some powerful energy sometimes.

I wonder what...?? Hmm, have you checked local papers and other reports?

Man, I just don't know. The natural explanations I can think of are things that you'd already be well aware of, like light pollution from a nearby town or a forest fire. Some kind of earth energy, I suppose.
Whatever it is, it sounds fascinating. I wish I could be there to see it. :)

Maybe you should check Peter Davenport's UFO reporting center and find out if anyone saw the same thing. I am not suggesting that you saw a UFO, however maybe someone saw some of the type of lights that you saw. Peter Davenport is always on Coast to Coast with George Noory.

Before everyone starts talking UFOs and other stuff...Did you consider the Aurora Borealis? It shows itself in some amazing places sometimes...Even in SC a couple of times........

I thought about the Aurora Borealis, and looked into it. There have been no aurora sightings anywhere near Montana or Wyoming in the past week.

It was hard to tell if it was a real light or some psychic energy light. (I usually need someone elses help to figure this out, so if I point to something and say "see that?" and they say "what are you talking about?" then I know it's something psychic/spiritual). I've tried looking again the past couple nights, but the moon has been so bright that it cancelled out any other glow that might have been there. None of my friends here have seen it, and there's nothing in the news, but I'm getting some good feelings from this. Whatever/whoever has arrived seems benevolent but quiet.

My first thought was the super volcano... yikes! I hope that's not the case.
