Hi,
I am a relatively new Druid, (or Derwydd as I prefer to spell it), and i'd love to know more about how other solitary Druids practise and perform festival rituals.

Thanks

Zephyr

I wish I knew more about Druidism. Hopefully we will get more Druidic folks in here to talk. I would love to learn more...

I am trying to get more Druids to the site. You can as well. Go and check out druid sites. Post the link on boards. DONT SPAM! Just invite people.

Absolutely NOT! There is a lot of information out there. I wouldnt dream of keeping you from it. I am confident you shall return. Because you will find information, but you wont find this community. Which is the best part, right? :)

Anyway, dont be afraid to invite people over here. That is what I want...get more people in here and build this community!

Brightest blessings!

Again...off topic for this forum. But, i am working on advertising. I do have to be very careful because I dont want to end up being so commercial that we got people in here causing problems for members of the community. But, I am working on getting more members. Dont worry.

Blessings!

dreams?
Hi Twig..a question please?Sorry I posted this in the wrong place before. In lesson 1. Please remove it from there.
Since I was very young I had dreams that came true in every particular. The Only dreams I remembered. but after I was in my middle teens allof the dreams were about things I could not control or change, except 1, & were always about crisis situations or death. At about 30 I started willing myself not to have these dreams, and I have been successful. Now however, I feel a loss. Is this in any way connected with druids & if not does anyone have any insite?
This may not be the appropiate place for this question. If not please let me know & I will post it elsewhere. For some reason I felt I should ask here.

It sounds as if you might have some precognition, Pattyann. That's a talent humans have, not particularly any religion. Whether you like that gift or not, it is a part of you and refusing it would give you a sense of loss. You might try a web search on 'precognition' or look in the library. If it sounds like what you are experiencing perhaps we can talk about how your religion can help you cope with it, rather than simply shutting it out.

Dia Duit Sisters and Brothers!

Actually, that topic is quite interesting to me, because when I was fourteen, I had a vision that told me to become a Druid. It took me one whole year to think of what the images and sounds meant to me ( YES, I did hear sounds going with it... and I was even awake ! ), and the conclusions were, I had to look for who I was in nature, adn that the Path my life was going to take could bear very beautiful fruits, but that it could have certain consequences for my life. I still remember the vision now, althoug it's four years later, now.

Since then I have had a few vision while wide awake and with my eyes wide open, while the first one I got while meditating. I have also had some premonitionary dreams, but nothing really big...

Just felt like sharing, because the visions changed my life around totally and brought me home, to my True Path.

Anyway, Brightest Blessings to you all and yours!

Widukind.

Hi Maggie, just did a search, found 19 articles & a couple junk sites. One article defined precognition as "information from distant time." My dreams were always of the future, usually 1-7 days. They always happened exactly as I dremt them. Any other suggestions? I really feel like I should allow them again (if I knew how) and could cope with them. Maybe I should post this in Just talk?
Thanks

Ha! Now see, you've found something that sounds like it might fit! (good call on junk sites, there's a lot out there.)At least for me, getting things in order always makes me feel better even if I still have the problem!

For now, it might be a good idea to move it to Just Talk. I have other quirks, but I've never had any precog experiences and maybe someone there does--always look around for more information, wide circles are useful!
