Well two techniques I like are 'the rope' and 'ceiling' technique.
1-lay down, flew muscles throughout body. Start deep breathing.
2-focus on your toes with all of your attention. Feel the energy build in your toes(tingleing). Relax every muscle in your toes.
3-move focus slowly up your body, slowly bringing your energy up through your body. Slowly relaxing the muscles in your focus area to relax with every exhale.
(Fight off all thoughts and simply concentrate on your bodies energy)
4-Move energy(focus point) up the back off your neck and into your head. At this point it may be possible to just slip out of your body, by not fighting the sensation.

If you still have trouble leaving try to add one of these steps next.

The ceiling technique is easier. Simply place your face to the ceiling physically, before meditation. Feel what it feels like to have your nose up there. Feel every aspect of the ceiling, Then when you get to step 4 and have your energy buzzing, visualize the ceiling right there against your face. Soon after visualizing this you will be there at your ceiling.

The rope technique is where you physically attach a rope to your ceiling, or above your head. Attach the rope so it dangles at your fore head, or wherever is most comfortable. Get familiar where the rope is. (it should be somewhat sturdy) Then when in meditation when you get your energy buzzing and vibtraing, just reach out with your mind's arms (astral arms) and grab the rope. Visualize useing your arms but don't really use them, feel your arms pulling the rope. Climb the rope and only focus on that.
