Quick Pendulum question

Did a search on Pendulums after reading a few of the post's and recalling a childhood experience I had with one.Was surprised to see all the different boards there are for them.Which leads me to my questions :hmmmmm: Is a board with more choices ie. numbers and letters"better" than a board with fewer choices? How is a pendulum used on such a board any different than a ouija board? (in regards to the negativity associated with the ouija)

I have a board that says things like yes,no,maybe,wont tell.Then I have some more specific boards which I use depending on what answers I am seeking.I have never used a pendulum with a ouija board before. If you are first learning IMHO I think its good to use very specific boards for your answers. I believe that there are some boards you can copy from a class called Gypsy Divination in our circle of teaching here. I know she covered that aspect and I believe the class is still up.There are some general directions that may help you as well in that lesson.

I would love any shared wisdom and will look for the info in circle of teaching you sopke of :) I am still so new here I just hope I can find it :P.When I was asking how the pendulum worked in relation to the ouija I was more trying to find out how it is different from the ouija.Why does the ouija have negativity associated with it and the pendulum not? Is the useing of a board the only thing they have in common? Does the pendulum attract a different energy than the ouija?

I have not used a ouija board since a very bad experience during my childhood many many years ago,so I can not really answer that part of Your question. When I work with my pendulum it has been cleansed and anointed(annointed is something that I just do for personal reasons.) . I then do some practice swings saying this means yes,this means no, then I do some questions to make sure it is working accurately . Things like am I a female, is my name -----, do i own a dog, things like that.
