View Full Version : Another 'dragon' sighting in China

There were a number of witnesses to this sighting, and someone got a picture of whatever it was on a cell phone camera, but as usual it isn't anything discernible.

Li was not the only person to see the dragon that evening. Law students Li Bing and Zhao saw it also. Li Bing said, “When I was leaving the library, I heard a girl yelling ‘Look! A dragon is flying in the clouds!’ I looked up, and I saw a red dragon-shaped object flying southeast. After just a minute, it flew away.” Zhao added, “The sky was completely illuminated at that moment.”

I believe they exist...but that picture doesnt look like much. It looks more like the sun setting over some clouds. Who knows maybe it is an actual dragon.

I feel that all myths derive from some truth. Where ever these creatures are hiding apparently this one lost it's way.

But man the Tibet one looks like a dragon.

I think its the sun reflecting off the outline of the clouds to, you can kinda see the big cloud if you look closely at the "tail"

i belive in dragons, but that kind of looks like a trick of light. but very cool. me and some freinds of mine were talking about dragons one day about how they could have existed/still do exist, he brought up a good point that their bones might be made of cartalige (just like sharks) and since cartalige decomposes after a short time there would be no physical record of their existance. cartalige is light and it would make it easier for them to fly.

Last March, Animal Planet ran a special, narrated by Patrick Stewart, about the scientific possibilities of dragons existing. The story went that a dragon fossil was found & studied - it was absolutely fascinating & very thought-provoking. :hmmmmm:

As for these pics, I agree that the first one could've been a trick of the light... but maybe it wasn't. I'm very strong with dragon spiritually (on the astral planes, I usually take the form of a pewter dragon) and I believe that they'll make their presence known again when the veil falls. A lot of people I've talked to believe the fantastically bad hurricane season we've had here in the States is a precursor to the endtimes... seeing a dragon in the sky, appropriately in Asia, could be another sign. :fpeek:

Yes, but, Cartilage is not strong enough to hold together muscle mass and help out for the lifting motion that would be needed if any dragons were of a subtantial size. It works for sharks because they are in the ocean.
And sharks still leave behind teeth. Dragons would do no less even if the rest of their bodies were made of cartilage.

:) I meant no real stress in my response. But the oddest things can fossilize including cartilage, even muscle tissue under the right ( but EXTREMELY rare ) occurance. Take "Willo", a dinosaur that was found with his heart fossilized. You can find more information here--->Willo, the Dinosaur with a Heart (www.dinoheart.org)
I also believe that they may indeed have had hollow bones or ones with a makeup that is more fragile and less dense ( which is why I think Pterodactyl, Pteranodon and Rhamphorhynchus may be the basis for dragon legends, at least in part ). Or it could be that thier skeletal structure was made up of keratin, which is not too hard to imagine; it would be not unlike the shell of a turtle that grows with the turtle over a lifetime, and provides protection from predators and injury.

I believe it is true. Dragons could be in your backyard, except not in the physical realm of existance. Dragons exist in the Otherworld and most lack physical bodies, I would love to go to china to investigate these sightings... that is if I could speak chinese.

Okay, not poking at you in jest or anything, but what do you mean by otherworld? There are instances where people saw physical animals that seemed out of place phylum wise, but were animals nonetheless. I am not pagan or anything along that line, so I was just wondering how that works, and how anyone knows what is on that alternate plane, otherworld, or dimension.

Interesting article and pic. Now, while I believe that dragons exist, I can't quite make myself believe that that particular picture is of one. It looks too much like the sun setting behind some clouds, and since I've seen a lot of sunsets I can't just make myself not see the similarities. I could be wrong of course.

Now the Tibetan pictures... those look a lot more real to me, and are very very cool.

I'd like to say I beleve in dragons, but with the proof being a picture that looks like a smoke trail, I'd rather go with the fairytales.

I just found a link that claims to explain the Tibetan Dragons photo...

http://www.museumofhoaxes.com/hoax/weblog/comments/3521/P20/

Scroll down. Someone thinks that the picture is of two converging rivers, with a possible touch-up in a computer graphics programme. Sadly the explanation seems believable! The images did look a little photoshopped to me...

But for the record, I still believe that dragons either do or DID exist :)
