ok.
it's 1:41 am. I hurt. I've been developing -and fighting- an ear infection all week.
I don't have insurance.
I have penicillin (I don't know if i spelled that right) and excedrin.
it's healing, but slowly.
everyday I wake up at 1am with pain. bad pain. I won't cry anymore because it just makes me feel worse. I can't miss anymore work and I can't be at work when I'm not in good shape since I work in a kinder class.
NO pain juju wold really help.
I know this sounds pathetic and well yeah pathetic, and I'm sorry for it.

Sending Reiki energy for healing the infection.
I've been fighting the same thing for over a week and doing Reiki self-healing. I know that taking Ecanachea and GoldenSeal capsules will help your immune system deal with the virus that causes ear infections. You can also warm mineral oil or a similar oil and put a few drops in your ear to soothe it. You can buy ear candles at a health food store for a couple of bucks and get someone to help you candle your ears which may relieve some of the pressure. And some folks swear by slicing onions very thin and roasting them in a low oven till there is some onion juice in the pan, and then putting a few drops of the warm juice in your ears.

Healing energies to you.
Ditto to the suggestion for warm oil drops in your ear. Take a clove of garlic and let it sit in a sealed jar of olive oil for at least 12 hours, heat up the oil slightly (luke warm) and then drop in your ear. The garlic will fight infection. A word of caution though, only do this if you are absolutely sure that your ear drum is NOT perforated.
Also, find yourself a inexpensive chiropractor. Believe it or not, it helps! W/out insurance, I've been to chiro.'s that cost only $20 a visit. Ajdustments are also recommended for children w/ chronic ear infections. I brought my daughter once. It was very gentle and not invasive.
I hope you feel better soon,
Kari

Thank you all.
Some news…
I’ve been on the meds. I was using a clove of garlic in my ear. Which helps, but I got so sick of it and it only works the first night or so.
My granny’s here!
She knows all these natural healing stuff. She used to be her towns healer when she was younger. So she uses cane alcohol, don’t know if anyone’s heard of it, and infuses it with some herb. I don’t know what it’s called in English, but it’s supposed to be great on ear infections.
She fixed me up this morning and sent me to sleep. I didn’t make it into work today either *sigh* slept until about an hour ago, but I’m feeling better.
I want to thank all of you for your energies. :hugz:

Yay. It's good to know your granny is there taking care of you, and making you rest yourself. I'm glad the energies and good thoughts were helpful. Hope you'll be good as new in a day or two.
