I have gone throught most of my past lives (there is a very strong negative connection in my present life from them)
I did do the trance regression thing and it was good and was worth the money, but I personally found fully conscious regression had a lot more effect on me and is the method I am now trained in using
I've come up with loads of stuff-I can trace the basic of nearly every lifetime i've had -and see some clear patterns

I've never had one done before, but I would love to. But with some of my obsessions, I often wonder if I wasn't Egyptian or Scottish.

thats really awesome. im excited, but apprehensive. i have had some crappy stuff happen to me in my life, and im curious to see if there is an underlying pattern.
its something that i think would be neat to learn how to do, but there really isnt someone here tht i can learn from

it makes sense if there is something that we are drawn to for no reason, that it may be an underlying them of your lives

My past life was narrated to me from an ominous voice in my dream. The voice said things like 'this is where you died' and such. I was a dark curly haired man who played guitar, was deeply in love with a woman who died from a fault of my own. This experience explained sooo much about my present life.

wow. thats pretty cool though that it was brought to you in a vision of sorts, but sucks that it was to traumatic.....thats what i worry about with me

September 23rd, 2005, 04:38 PM
yeah it was tramatic. The last vision I had of this was a very long one, and I felt the total love for this woman. I was often in a first person perspective and sometimes a third person, like a movie. I died from a needle injection. Although it was upsetting I was able to view many patterns of this life overlap my own. Overall it made memuch more aware.

I've never done a regression and don't have any idea of any of my past lives. I think it would be cool to find out, but also scary at the same time.

the whole point i think it to learn what you are supposed to so you can move on to the next lesson, if you dont get it, the same things show up until you deal with it. at least now you have come to some peace with the situation, maybe now the cycle wont continue

I agree. I think when problems from a past life overlap with our current life we are often shown why, and how to help ourselves. The question I ask is where does the information come from? A higher collective energy in the astral, our higher self or our spirit, an angel spirit? I have no clue but just hope to have the awareness to take these lessons in.

If you think it's worth let me know, I've been wanting to do something like that. I believe I have someone that's waiting for me, but I'm having the damnest time trying to find this person. (i know eventually I'll find him or he'll find me, still I would like to see what my life was like) I've had a few past life readings done by some MW members, all of which explain alot about how I am but it seems to lead to a lonely, single life. Not very encouraging in the love department.

I never done it but I would love to.
Haven't figured out where to go or how. LOL
I have many dreams that I feel were perhaps past life memories.
I sometimes wonder if in a past life I was Egyptian or English or
from the Middle East.
I would love to know how that goes for you!!!

hey all, well, i just did my regression today on my lunch break. i didnt do it on saturday because of a neck injury. it was interesting and it made a lot of sense to me. it was done from a trance standpoint. she had me imagine that i was walking down a flight of stairs into darkness. i went down three flights and then found myself outside. its was crazy, i was there. apparently the main life tht i went to was in scottland, the year had a 13 in it, i was a woman who married into the mclaurin clan, my husband went away to war with england and was killed. the other women in the clan were mean to me, and eventually i threw myself off of a cliff that was near the moors where my home was located. i could see details like mad. i was wearing a maroon dress, had black hair, lived in a cottage with a thatched roof, and made my own breads and cheeses (i had a brown cow) i was then asked if i had any other lives with this same theme, and i went back to rome, and saw myself waving my husband off to fight in germania. he was also killed. the woman running the hypnosis asked me to forgive myself, and my husband for dying. when i came out i felt like this big weight had been lifted. its really weird to because in this life i have delt with depression, i am obsessed with scottland for some reason, and i have this really stupid fear that something is going to happen to my husband. *insert twilight zone music here*
very cool, and a bit scary , but i would do it again

In my last pastlife meditation, I discovered I was a warrior of some sort... which is why I'm taking the Spirituality in Warrior CoT that'll start up pretty soon. I also do martial arts now, I'm almost a blackbelt.

I would love to get a past life regression done sometime to see what comes up. Hopefully it would explain some dreams that seem too real to be dismissed as just a dream, but not something that could happen in my future.
I'm almost positive that in one of my past lives I was a settler in very-early America who got 'kidnapped' by Native Americans after I was seperated from my family. I can't remember what my name was as the girl before the Natives, but they named me 'Little Hawk Dancing'. And I stayed with them for years before my 'true' family took me back, against my will. There was a young man, Kenau, who tried to court me, but I denied him because I was in love with Laughing Eyes, a young Native American woman. After the settlers took me back I died in a fire and heard Laughing Eyes scream.
Luckily for me the details have faded a lot since I first had the dream. For days after the dream I couldn't shake the feel that I was in the wrong body and it unnerved me beyond all belief. A past life regression would still be interesting though, very interesting.

In a past life regression I did once I saw myself as a trapper/guide along the Mississippi in the 1830's-1840's. Very much a loner though I had occasional partnerships with others. In the vision/memory I was impatiently waiting for a partner to finish conducting his business in a small indian village east of the river that was in a transitional stage itself what with Europeans moving west. I was wearing deerskins and had a rifle and knives.
I was surprised at the time that I had been male in a previous life although it seems stupid to think that now. I also dislike guns but for some reason have always been comfortable around older style firearms. I am impatient and something of a loner so perhaps that past life has more connections to my current life.
I feel this was a positive experience but not all regressions are so perhaps you should have someone with you at your session. Good luck!

I've always believed I had something to do with Jack the Ripper...either a victim or Jack. I'm obsessed with the case, and I have an unhealthy obsession with knives and hookers!!
I'd love to find out who I was in the past. I just feel so lost in this life. I also think this is my first life being female. I'm very dude-like in my physical build and mannerisms.
How can I find out who I was?
Thanks. :)

Lets see last go around was interesting for lack of better words. Started off in Scotland around the late 700's early 800's. Ended up at the slave market in Dublin eventually ended some where around what I assume, upon research to be Kiev. Headed else where skipping some details in between ended up dying after some stomps to the chest by a horse.

I've always wanted to do this. I have some trace memories of dyeing in battles over several lives. Like being able to feel the wound. I believe in one life I was betrayed on the battlefield. That one sticks out because I was a woman.

I know about one pf my past lives, I think. In it I was a woman who grew up determined to be the son her father always wanted.. She ended up 'failing' him and leaving the Keep he was Lord of, after her mother died of pneumonia.
Bits and pieces of the life come to me now and again. I have a fascination with Ireland and bladed weapons, though knives seem to fit me better now. For some reason I have skill with knives and other weapons, without ever taking a class. The first time I picked up a bow in elementary school on a class camping trip, I hit the bullseye.
It's uncanny..
Anyway, I would also love to see how to do a guided meditation to discover past lives.. there isn't anywhere in this city that I can have one professionally done! *pout*

I've done past life regression with one of my best friends as my guide; it was worth every moment. It helped me understand some inexplicable fears and patterns I've carried with me. I'd love to do another one soon, this time I have specific questions I need answered.

I had a similar experience...
I have always had dreams of a past life in scotland for some reason, even though I am chinese. The most prominent dream was of the day I got married back then.
I don't know what the house looked like from the outside, but inside it was very low. The bride to be was dressed in a lovely white chemise and it was apparently our wedding night. The various women relatives were gossiping outside the door, and there was even a small girl child sitting in the bed (I was told later that this symbolized fertility).
I tried to do regression sessions with people but I could never really get anything. However one time I heard the sounds of battle and my name shouted across the battlefield. I think I must have died there. The name that was shouted was Donal or something.
My SCA persona was taken partly from this experience. My persona name is Donal Maclauren.
Your story hit a weird chord, because among the other dreams I have, is one of a woman throwing herself off a cliff, and me helpless to help her.

I'm asian too and I have this intense but odd attraction to Scotland. I can't explain why exactly I'm drawn to Scotland but I'll see next summer(going there). Maybe I'll finally get my answer.
I've never done the regression thing but I'd like to. I've only had past life readings done, about two I think. I was a nun in one, in a wealthy family and got a really good education (there's more but it's too long). That made sense to me though because education has always been a big thing with me, I pride myself on my intelligence over my looks. I did think about becoming a nun (seriously) a long time ago. I've always wanted to do something that would allow me to travel and help others. That's why when I was 7, I decided I wanted to join the Peace Corps.
In another one I was a man, a wealthy man, long story short...his wife apparently had an affair and then things kinda went down hill from there.
But yeah, my interest in past lives has to do with a reoccuring dream I use to have growing up, I had it 3-4 times a week for about 6-7 years and then it stopped. It was always me (a grown up me of course) and this guy, the sitution and surrounding changed but it was always the same guy, and it always ended the same way. The last dream was slightly different and in a way I knew I wouldnt see him again after that night, I felt like a piece of my heart was ripped away. I woke up sobbing uncontrollably (I was 12 at the time).

The strange thing about my dream is that when I dreamed it, I didn't know anything about scots or celts. I had described the dress to a friend and they were surprised at the detail of how it matches a chemise. At the time I've never seen a movie with scots in it. Braveheart came out about a year after this dream.
The falling off a cliff dream was even older, sometimes it is me falling, sometimes I'm watching a woman fall. It eventually lead me to lucid dreaming and flying in my dream but I don't know who the woman was. I did feel a deep connection with her and felt that I was regreting not being there for her.
I have always been attracted to swords and weapons, but the first time I picked up a two-handed weapon, I knew how to use it. Claymores are two handed.
When I was a teenager, I have always been interested in King Arthur and the knights. But I read anything about scots or celts etc. So there was no prior knowlege of them.
I'm also a natural at archery, dunno what that means. My chinese name is Chang (zhang) which literally means Longbow. Another person had given me a reading saying I was a warrior in another life like a mongol on horseback or something.
Another dream I've had is being a gate guard dressed in armor similar to a samurai.

I've had some wierd experiences with the whole past life thing. To begin with the not-so-serious stuff, I've had a few readings to do with past lives. Apparently (lol) in one, I was an Irishwoman with 9 grandkids. In another, I was a shaman who healed sick kids, took care of pregnant women, and looked after injured soldiers. In another one, sometime around the 14th century, I worked in the kitchen of some castle. I became involved with one of the members of the family and became pregnant. Whoever was in charge of things wanted to have me killed. I ran away, but the man didn't get away in time and was killed for betraying the family. The guy was supposedly my now husband. in another, I was a Scottish warrior circa 1000ad who was brutal in battle. In yet another, I was supposedly the daughter of a nobleman in Argyll, Scotland, about 14-1500's. Another life was in ancient India, and another as a farmer somewhere in Europe. My last life, I was a child in London during WW2, and died during the bombings. So I've had loads and loads of past life readings which have all said various things. The only consistent thing I have seen is Scotland. lol Now, onto a more serious note: when I was a baby, I had vivid visions of a place. My great-grandfather had a painting of English roses that hung above his bed. I clearly recall laying on his bed, staring at this painting, and seeing vivid visions of a rose garden near a stone structure of some sort. Throughout my life, I've dreamt of and "seen" this place during meditations. It's always the same place, a huge stone structure (I'm not sure if it's a castle or what) surrounded by trees and gardens. I've had various dreams of being inside it, seeing people around it, walking in the woods that surround it. In some of these dreams, I've seen a man who I felt strong feelings toward. Could've been a husband, who knows. lol I've also had vivid dreams of being somewhere with a man tied down to wooden tables somewhere in a dark, stone building being tortured. I had a dream once where I was standing in a forest in front of a huge stone, and on that stone was a description of someone in the 1400's who had been beheaded in battle, and lived in Argyll. I also had a couple dreams wherein I was a soldier in Scotland. So I have always felt like this was connected to a past life thing, because I've seen it since birth practically, and it's always looked the same. A freaky thing is, my uncle also had vivid dreams of a castle when he was a child...........and later found a photograph of it in an encyclopedia! lol I definately feel a strong connection to Scotland, as well as England and Ireland. I feel a very strong draw to whatever this place is I dream of. I would be really, really interested in having a past life regression done sometime. For the time being, I've mostly focused on meditation, and it's been a long time since I've done a past life meditation anyway. In any event, it's an interesting thing to ponder.
