I had the freakest dream I've had in a while.

I dreamt I went to get ice cream with my brother and my cousin. I order mint chocolate and for some reason the guy gave me mint chocolate chip 'cookies'. Then we dropped by another ice cream place, TCBY but we didnt get anything (why we went I dont know). I kept hearing 'Baskin Robbins' (which was where we went first) in the background. (I dont sleep with the tv or radio on). Well, my cousin left in his car and my brother and I headed home, problem was we couldnt find out house. The neighborhood and people looked familiar but we couldnt find out house. We went further in and the houses got bigger, fancier and kinda 'english-ish'. There were lots of people walking around, it looked like there was some sort of festival going on. My brother saw a pictagraph of where we got lost, he said it was just over those 'mounds'. We kept asking old ladies for directions and they just smiled and told us to get a sleeping bag or something. They didnt really listen to what we were asking them. Then we meet this man, who seems like he's the one in charge of the festival, surrounded by a bunch of laughing and dancing kids. I got a bad vibe from him, my brother sees the mound ahead it lead to the forest. The man kept watching us and we got the feeling we werent suppose to go into the forest. I distracted them while my brother runs there. I see this tiki rock statue (huge) laying flat down and glowing red; the kids run over to check it out, go inside it's mouth and doesnt come out. The man tries to get me to go into but I said I was too old for child play and said I'm gonna go look for my brother, he likes these sort of stuff. I walk away, trying to hide by blending into the crowd and then I tail it to the woods and come across where my bro should be. It's like a big storage garage with white dumpsters. I went in and climbed onto one dumpster to see what it was, I had a feeling it was where they kept the remains of child sacrifices. I then climbed out the window and up on top of the garage to get to the other dumpster. I didnt find my brother or get to the other dumpster. Instead I hear voices of children, and what sounded like commentary from 'above' or something. I remember hearing "dwarf (or lephrechauns) need to be able to act too". Then I woke up, it was such a wierd dream...and all the while I still kept thinking about 'Baskin Robbins'.

Not getting the ice cream could symbolize that perhaps you are wasting your time on petty projects, the englishish neighborhood, could represent that you are feeling out of your element, or perhaps are about to come to a new phase in your life that you may not like, if you haven't already. The fact that you didn't recivee any help is maybe because you have problems that you won't get any help from, or from people who say they will help you but end up being a dissapointment. As for the tiki rock statue, and the sacrifice, it could mean that you could be sacrificing something of yourself, for little or no gain, fruitless. The Baskin Robbins could have just been you craving ice cream. Also, all that could represent that your inner child is not being nurtured. You don't have to answer this, but when you were a child, did you have to grow up in a hurry, perhaps have to take responsibilty for your brother and cousins. I'm not trying to be nosy but all this could indicate swift loss of childhood. Or perhaps you might not want the responsibility of taking care of your bvrother and cousins? I don't know if they are your age or older or younger. These are just suggestions, I hope it helps.

Thanks, that makes sense. In a way I did grow up kinda fast, I'm the oldest child with two younger brothers and a bunch of younger cousins. I did alot of babysitting, alot of things happened growing up so, yeah...that kinda affected how I am now too. I moved around alot when I was younger and had to learn to adapt and make new friends which wasnt always easy. I was always really mature (mentally) for my age.

Also, and I thought of this just now, the dwarves being earthy creatures, could represent that you crave stability, and may be resentful or frustrated that you do not seem to have it.
