i was wondering if any one has had this happen to them.
i was takeing a nap this afternoon, and i thought that my boyfreind had come in to give me a hug or something and when i opend my eyes for a split second there was a shadow in the form of a body in the light from the door way. i wasnt asleep yet i had just laid down and was still getting comfortable. i definalty felt something there (i am sensitive to personal energys around people) and that is why i opend my eyes in the first place. it was only there for a few seconds. the only thing that i can think of is that i had taken a tab of kava kava a few mins before i laid down. i have seen and felt things before like this, but i thought that it was a dream. any idea what it might be.

Try looking up "sleep paralysis" and "hypnogogic imagery". It's quite common to sleep into a dreaming state while you're still not fully asleep; the kava-kava probably had an effect as well.

i kind of thought that it might be a spirit.
however i didnt have sleep paralisis at the time, most of the time when i did feel or see a spirit that was involoved and that is why i thought it was a dream. but this time i was not paralized. like i said i had just laid down and i was not any where near sleep.

:caffeine: I have these experiences happen to myself in many different ways. I believe them to be spirits. Sometimes I'll be sleeping and wake up and see a shadow in the room. I believe this is a male soul. I don't mind it as long as it doesn't get to close then I feel a bit unsure. But this soul has never done anything to me so I figure as long as distance is kept it's fine with him being there. He may have been a past member living in the house I'm now sure. But I figure as long as nothing bad has happened to me or my children I'm fine with it.
Other times when just falling I sleep I get a very strong feeling someone is in the room with me, I open my eyes but don't see anyone but I feeling is to strong to ignore it. I believe it's a spirit as well. Other times it's a feeling of something behind me or a sound on the steps but turning nothing is there.
I also believe I might be causing these spirits to come around being I am so intuitive to the other side. I say as long as my family isn't harmed their welcome but something happens and they will wish they never came into my senses.

Yeah I have seen them quiet often. As long as they keep their distance you should be fine.

when i was growing up there was a spirit that was real bothersom to me and my mom. he was not nice in any way. i could feel him touching me and "other" things. he had been following me for a long time and when i moved i thought that he had left me. but he started visiting again. i finnaly got the courage to ask him to leave me alone. nicely i said that we had alot of interesting times together and that i felt that since we have both grown that it was time to move on for both of us. i havent felt him around latly and when this shadow came to me the other night i was worried it might be him, and manifested so i could see him no less. but the feeling i got was that it wasnt him. it was somthing else that has been in this apt for a while now. i know this may seem weird but he came to me in an alien form a while back. i was watching a show about alein abuduction and i mentioned off hand to my boyfriend why was i not chosen to be visited by aliens. well that night i had a bad bout of sleep paralisys and i was on my back (i never sleep on my back unless i am real sore or real sick) and he was standing over me looking at me. i could see him. i told him to leave me alone. but i couldnt get the words out of my mouth i was yelling through gritted teeth telling him to go away. after a while he finnaly left. in the morning i asked my boyfreind if he heard me yelling last night he said he hadnt that i was real quiet (that is also not normal cause i do snore on occasion, i talk in my sleep sometimes, and i also have restless leg syndrom so my arms and legs are usually moving) he said it was the quietist night he had had in a while. i still wonder about it.

Happens to me all the time, a lot of it, to me, is all time no time.
If you felt that it was your boyfriend it probably was.
Believe it or not, quantum physics has a lot to do with, along with spirituality of coarse.

so what your saying is that even though i felt him in the room, and he was in the living room at the time, it was his energy that was comming in to visit me. i can accept that.
