Do yourself a huuuge favor, when you have a question this general, and 'search' for past threads on such a topic...MW has a bunch of Astral Travel Threads, and if you reply to any of them that have not been officially closed, that will bring that thread up to the 'New Posts' area, and maybe other people will comment, and you'll learn even more.
