Reading Recommendations

Okay, so I work in a Library. I found a book on tarot that is proving to be most interesting! It's called "Tarot Companion: An Essential Reference Guide" by Tracy Porter. I am finding that this book is very helpful. It includes a symbolism dictionary, and information on: timing, combinations, numberology, astrology, cabala, I Ching, Runes, colors, chakras to mention a few. I just browsed through the book this morning, and I'm ordering myself a copy.

I've always wondered what the rabbits meant on the queen of pentacles card, now I know. Rabbits: sexual prowess, quick change of partners, fast multiplication of offspring.

Everything on the tarot cards are there for a reason. The colors used are no accident either!

If you don't want to buy this book, take a look at the local library, maybe they have it or can get it for you to check out!

As I trust your judgement so much :) and too have always wanted to know what all the little animals, colours and symbols represent on my cards ~ Ive gone ahead and ordered myself a copy!

Yes this is a great book. It was one of the titles that Mol got for me this Yule. I also highly recommend Seventy Eight Degrees of Wisdom by Rachel Pollack. I have had some good books but this has to be my favorite. I have used it more than any other tarot source. It is full of notes and highlights. If you can get your hands on a copy you will not be sorry.
