I received the following email from my sister this morning:
I am asking in urgency for prayer for my sister Cora. She has been having terrible stomach pains, accompanied with constipation, then self-induced vomiting in the hopes she might feel better. All of this has been happening since February. In August she had an Upper G.I. performed, as well as a colonoscopy. The only results were that she had ulcers in her lower instestine. The treatment for those has not been working. She also had an ultrasound of her gall bladder performed. The tech said that was most likely the cause of all her problems. However, the doctor told her the tests were inconclusive. The pain has continued and changed.
She has been in the emergency room since 1 am this morning. Normally, our family would be concerned, but now we are almost in panic mode. She is in Duncan hospital, which has a bad reputation for taking in live patients who never make it back out. She is currently on morphine, which is what they've given patients in the past who never made it.
PLEASE PRAY!!! I will keep you updated when I hear anything. Thank you my brothers and sisters in Christ. Be blessed!

I just got off the phone with my mom, and she had just talked with Cora. She has been admitted to the hospital. They think she has Crohn's disease, which is a chronic inflammation of the intestines. That could mean having to do a bowel resection. That is not definite at this point. But PLEASE, continue to pray!
I am so worried for Cora. She so does not need this right now. Her life has finally settled down, She and her hubby and kids have finally found a place to settle down and live (he was in the Army and they were stationed alllll over the place)....
She's only 27.
For anybody who was around a couple years ago, she's the mother of the 6-year old who was hit-and-run by an SUV.
