Much Needed Energy For A Friend!!

I'm not one for making posts as you all know unless it's something very important. This time it's for a friend of mine that I work with. Her name is Brandi Gipe. She's 27 years old, and has a 4 year old son. I received a phone call from my boss this morning at 8:30 EST, and she sounded like she was in tears. I called her back as soon as my brain was awake, maybe half an hour later. She told me she had been called by Brandi's family to inform her that she (Brandi) was in ICU after having suffered a severe seizure last night as a result of having smoked one joint. I'm not one to judge a person based on what they do on their off hours. I've never been that way. What disturbed me the most is the fact that what my boss was able to find out is that Brandi is being listed as brain dead. This girl has so much potential to make management in our store. Her son is a delight, and a real sweetheart. If there is such a thing as miracles, Brandi needs it now. Her birthday is on December 25th. I'm hoping that she will survive and be able to function as close to normal as possible for the sake of her son. I'm asking for your help for her, especially this time of year. No one should have to spend the holidays in the hospital. And if God should decide to take her home... for she is a Catholic... please help give her enough energy that it will be a smooth crossing for her and that the pain her family goes through is minimal. Thanks.

I finished reading this through tears, this is so very sad. Sending energy for her, and her family, and friends. So many are hurting there. I'll dress a candle and put them all up in the light.

as i write this, tears flow from my eyes. as of 3pm EST i was informed that in 8-12 hours Brandi's life support will be shut off. i wish that everyone of you here at Mystic Wicks could've known her. she was the most beautiful person to ever grace my life. she is going to be sorely missed by many people. please pray for her smooth crossing now and for her son.
