A while back I asked for energy/prayers because of my dh's back. Thank you all for your responses back then. His back seemed to get a bit better and all though it's leveled off again, it's nice that it did get somewhat better. Well my problem now is that yesterday, I found out I have a fracture all the way through L4 in my spine. It hurts like crazy & they can't do anything for me until they know if it's an old or a 'hot' injury. WE can't afford the CT scan that it would require to find that out, so I'm in need of guidance & energies. I'm really at a loss for what to do next. :(

Thanks in advance! :huddle:

Energy sent. Try to find a clinic near you, that will treat people that don't have insurance. Most places have a free clinic that will help in cases where a person can't afford treatment.

I will be sending lots of energy! I would also advice to look for near by clinics that can help you in your particular situation. You may try contacting the Salvation Army- they might be able to make some recommendations for you.

:huddle: oh, thank you all so very much! For the candles & energy! I can't tell you how much I appreciate it. The pain is easing up a bit, thank goodness! I can move without gasping...that's always a step in the right direction. :)

Sending energy! you poor thing. I can't say that I've had breaks in my spine, but i do have chronic back pain, and I can sympathize with you, I know it may not mean much, but try to relax, don't tense up against the pain, it will make it worse, try to flow with it, this is a difficult thing to learn, but it has helped me. Just breath with it, don't "brace" yourslef, just know it's coming and let it flow through you.
Best of luck, my dear.

Mother Goose, I too suffer from chronic back pain from several injuries sustained in my lifetime. I have also learned to not tense up from the pain, but relax with it and use it to gain strength from within and the Cosmis One.
Again my energies to you and also your dh

thank you all for the support & energy!

thank you for the advice....I'm trying to not tense up due to the pain, but I'm still finding that difficult. I guess, practice makes perfect. :) I'll keep at it! I've learned that positive thinking can help change a lot in my life...I've just had a hard time seeing the positive the last few days.

Thanks again, everyone! :hugz:

Life is a cycle of learning, and pain is a sign that we are still learning. I guess you could say that if you can feel pain, then you know you are still alive.

:huddle: thanks everyone!

Went to the dr yesterday...she doesn't think they'd even want to do surgery on my back because of the kind of break that it is. Now it's just a matter of getting my muscles to relax, taking it easy on myself & letting my back heal itself. She gave me 3 different meds to help...they were hideously expensive, so I certainly hope that I'm feeling much better by the time I finish them all! lol
