k well am feeling brave so i will ask some dumb questions, i think one has kinda been answered about a house, but houses do have different "feelings" right? its not just me? and what about trees? not plants or flowers but trees. I can hear some (not all) trees hum, and on occasion I feel if a tree is happy or more often than not, sad. My hubby and I were out walking and it was a fine day and i was fine til we came across this tree, the emotional was just so overwhelming I literally sat down at the trees base and cried with it but alot of times i don't know the "whys", is there some way to figure out the whys?
One more odd one, my toe, specificly my left baby one that was cut off by accident when i was 4 and re-attached. It goes numb & tingly if someone I care for is in serious distress before I know of it, if my toes starts doing that now, I literally pick up the phone and start making calls to see whats what. It seems to happen when either they are in grave danger or a death has occured and so far has a met a distance of app 300 km...is this empathy as well?
p.s. i was reading through some posts and noted the "people want to tell me their woes" part, I usually see them coming and look really mean and they go away, I often feel guilty after, but just can't handle that kind of stuff.

Oh I think one can feel trees! I do. I remember taking a walk the morning after a bad storm. It was very sobering and the air was just, well, off. One of the trees had lost a large limb that was lying in the middle of the road. I went and picked it up and set it at the base of a tree and felt that the tree was just pissed with me for doing that! So I moved it and the anger in the tree went away.
I feel you about the ppl. and their probs. I dislike it too, especially when I think they're just full of it and want attention. I get ALOT of that. I think empaths get quite a few of those ppl., and since I've been reiki attuned, it's doubled.:geez:
As for the toe thing, I'm not sure I have any explanations for that other than biological. First thing I thought is everything in your body is connected by a complex series of neuropathways all leading to the same place:your brain. Maybe when you injured your toe, you awoke a pathway that created activity in the same area of your brain that deals with empathy or psychic abilities?

 I have felt things like that to. I just found or figured out not even a year ago that I hade empathy. My friend was sick and she had to go to the hospital That night after she was released I called her and asked her if she was ok because i had a feeling that something was wrong all day.She told me about having to go to the doctor because of her pain.I asked her what time she left and she told me 12:30 and asked why,I told her about the feeling i got how it stuck with me all day and how it gave me a headache and start crying for no reason. She was wiccan and understood what was happing and explained it to me. I started walking the wiccan path about a year and a half ago. I discovered that my empathy was so strong I could get a feeling off someone miles away.
I think the reason you can feel the mood of a tree is that booth of you are so in touch with nature that it allows your empathy to pick it up or maybe your empathy is that strong.

Hello Kamilialuna, welcome to the bunker.
Is it okay if I call you Kami - 'cause if I called you Luna I'd get confused and think I was talking to myself... again. ;)
It's amazing what we can pick up from the people we're close to, the people we love. The first time I realized I was seriously empathic and psychic was when my gramma was dying. I couldn't stand to sit around the house waiting for the phone to ring so I put the baby in the stroller and went for a long walk. Finally I could feel that she had passed so we walked back home, and not long after I got the phone call.
I picked up some really strong feelings like my dad was dying a few years ago. Later I found out he hadn't been dying, but he had gotten scared about a problem and gone to the doctor, which probably reminded him of when he really was close to dying when he had a heart attack and reacted really badly to the pre-surgery drugs he was given. I probably picked up his fear empathically rather than psychically getting that he was dying.
Yes, houses do hold emotions, that's why it can be very helpful to do a cleansing ritual when moving into a new place, or when there has been a lot of worry or anger in your home, or just kinda like doing spring and fall housecleaning.

being a empath has its good points,as well as it has its bad points.
there are simply way to many times in the day when i see others look
upon me in such hatefulness,or they accidently send that hateful emotion
my way as they think "outloud" not realising that others can feel this.
i tend to get complete strangers who will just sit down right beside me and
just start telling me there every problem, ive kind of made a game out of it
it's sort of like fishing.
my opinion of this is that being a empath is one of the true gifts of a seer
it is not us who should judge others and there emotions,we should just
experience the emotions with them so that they know that there not alone.
