This isn't my website. This is one I frequently recommend to newbies. I just wanted to see what others think of it.

I'll second that. Best comprehensive Wicca 101 site I've seen yet.

I'm glad to see that Nightfall has updated her site. She used to be quite insulting to "Fluffy Bunnies". I think there are better ways to correct misinformation than by making fun of those who have been exposed to the wrong information, mainly by talking in an adult, rational manner about the reasons that something else makes more sense.

Ive seen this site before looking for fluffy bunny stuff...lol.

Really the site is a good site for WICCAN, and the author is very adamant about that fact. I respect its views on the learning and practice of Magick. I'm not Wiccan nor a witch but if I were, I'd rather come across this site to begin with than many of the others Ive seen.

The site is OK. It has good info on Wicca, but the descriptions of Hereditary and Traditional Witchcraft seem quite biased IMHO.

Could you please show examples?

I liked this site, it's one of the best Wiccan texts I have read. But I have issues with her definitions of Witchcraft (for obvious reasons, lol) and also find her discriptions biased. I think Fire sage might be speaking of this page, but correct me if I am wrong. http://wicca.timerift.net/wiccans.html

I love this site. It is a clear, intelligent and no-fluff introduction to Wicca. I appreciate that the author is clear in defining the site as Wiccan and separating other Pagan Traditions, I also love that there is so much more than a basic, plagerized Wicca 101. There is tonnes of more in depth material as well as lots of citation - something sorely missing from most websites. I think they do an excellent job of debunking fluffy mythology without resorting to a "higher than thou" mentality.

I am disapointed with the author's understanding and presentation of feminism as misinformed, outdated and childish.
(from the Goddess Spirituality page):

Excuse me, but when's the last time you've been personally put down by "the patriarchy"? Yes, grevious insults have been bestowed upon women in previous centuries, but the only reason we "suffer" wounds inflicted upon previous generations is if we decide we're going to suffer. The only ones victimizing us now are generally ourselves.
Last time I checked women around the world are still subjected to forced marriages, genital mutation, and "honour" killings. Here in Canada a woman has a one in four chance of being raped and a 50% chance of being abused (phyically, emotionally or financially) by a partner. This is not being done because we've decided to let ourselves be victimized.

The design and layout is great: asthetically pleasing and easy to navigate (though there's so much there it is easy to get lost in a million opened tabs/windows).
