Can someone help me. I was on a site and it mentioned Basque witches, which is a term i've heard before in books and other places, but what are they, is it older than wicca, what do they worship and also are they like christian witches, who use magic or are they in a pre-christian Basque religion.
Also on this site http://www.thecrookedheath.com/devilnf.htm, it says that the devil is a name for the 'old one' who the Basque witches worship, is this true, since i'm not sure what to think of the site since it seems to say any religion or god that isn't Germanic isn't real (for the record, i believe in all gods as individual beings, including Satan and Yahweh)
