Dear Empaths

I don't quite understand a feeling I've been getting. I've been getting Dejavu, but not from my life.....it's as though I've gone into someone else's thought, and thought dejavu for them when walking down a familiar place for them, but a new place to me......understand? Anyone had this before? If so could you tell me what it is because I'm assuming it's someone else's thought of dejavu.

No, I don't really understand. Deja vu is a sense of recognizing a place or person when you've never been there or seen them before, isn't it? So why do you think this sense is coming from someone else rather than from your own past life or something?

Because I can somehow feel the difference between a thought of my past life, and the thought's left behind by someone that I can pick up.

Hmmm, picking up someone else's feelings and even thoughts is pretty common for Empaths. Picking up someone else's past life deja vu is a new one for me. :huh:

no no, worry, i din't mean it like their past lives......just a random tought left by them (for a made up example: last time the person I got the thought from was in town, she seen an old lady come out of the same shop at the same time kinda thing)

That doesn't sound like deja vu then, it sounds more like telepathy or clairaudience. I know I've seen a site on the internet that explains the different ways of sensing things, but I can't find it right now. Something like that might be helpful in figureing out what's happening with you.

I think you might be picking up on thoughts another person is having.

You know how if you're walking down the street and the sight or smell of something brings back a memory? I think you're just picking up on the memories that someone else is thinking about.

What is this gift called? If there is an actual name for it
