Any authors had an exceptionally fine experience with a pagan-oriented bookstore out there? It's good to recognize owners of independent bookstores, especially now in the Age of Big Box Shopping.

Edge of the Circle in Seattle WA is a great shop, and I really like the owner. Can't remember the addy right now, but it's on E. Pike Street and I know it has a website.

'Banyen Books and Sound' (www.banyen.com or 3608 West 4th Avenue Vancouver, B.C. Canada V6R 1P1) is an AWESOME place in Vancouver BC! They've got just about everything in there. Their book selection is to DIE for!
Also, Dragonspace (#6 - 1551 Johnston St. Vancouver, BC V6H 3R9) has got some cool stuff too!
I know of a few more but these are my top two picks! Hope this helps out other West Coasters!

Gaia Books in Berkley, CA has always been one of my favorites. They host wonderful book signings and discussion groups.

Kyndred's Closet in Auburn, WA is pretty good too. They just had their one year anniversary a couple of weeks ago. I walked in there and the first thing I saw was the Wall of Herbs. I thought I had died and gone to heaven, lol.
They have a decent selection of books there too! Edge of the Circle has more books than I have ever seen on various forms of paganism, so I love that store, too!

I have since discovered Spellbinding Tales, in Alameda (Bay Area, Northern California.)
It is charming, trippy, has a coffee/tea bar, and comes with its own resident ghost. The owner is way cool. Look it up on the 'net.

Phoenix Metaphysical Books (http://phoenixmetaphysical.com/) in Surrey, BC ( next largest to Banyen); Tenzing Momo (http://www.tenzingmomo.com/) in Seattle; Sacred Space (http://asacredspace.ca/) in Vancouver, BC; Reflections Books (http://www.reflectionsbooks.ca/) in Coquitlam, BC; and Instincts in Victoria, BC - (250)388-5033. These are the cream of the crop, but there are a lot more in my local area.

There is a Book Store at which you can buy Incense, Candles, Tarot Decks, Jewellry, Broom Sticks, and just about anything else that a Druid or Celtic Pagan could need for their Rituals and Magic.
It is called Grimoires Books
They are located at:
#102 - 319 Governors Court
New Westminster, BC
V3L 5S5
604-526-7323
The Proprietor of the Store is known as Pixie. She is Very Nice and she always shows Respect for other Peoples Ways and their Paths. She has made some Nice Comments to me in regards to my Sacred Eucalyptus Tree, so she is one of my Favorite People.

Well I used to live in the Vancouver area and Banyen Books (http://www.banyen.com) isn't bad. Phoenix Books (http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&rls=GGLJ,GGLJ:2007-48,GGLJ:en&pwst=1&resnum=0&um=1&ie=UTF-8&q=phoenix+books&near=Vancouver,+BC,+Canada&fb=1&view=text&latlng=18059558848683577590) (used to be great, the owners changed not long before I moved and I'm not sure how the new ones are.
