Unearthed statues depict 'Ramses the Great'
CAIRO, Egypt (AP) -- Archaeologists discovered a pharaonic sun temple with large statues believed to be of King Ramses II under an outdoor marketplace in Cairo, Egypt's antiquities chief said Sunday.

Eeee! Zahi Hawass! Man, I wish I could get action figures of him! Or his face on a T-shirt or ppster - posing at the viewer, and the caption says "Zahi Hawass Wants YOU!"
Coolness. I bet it'll be a bitch to move that market, though. Sort of makes you wonder what history lies buried beneath your feet.
