Gnomes

Has anyone ever had run-ins with gnomes, fairies, or other elemental creatures?

Do you know of any links that may have photographs? This has always intrigued me.

I've come in contact with fairies and memories but what are gnomes? The only gnomes I heard of are those lawn fixtures. (Sorry don't mean to be insulting)

I've only ever encountered these elemental beings in my ritual circle when I call them to guard the quarter.

They ended up being a hoax.

Gnomes are earth elementals that look like the lawn gnomes.

I know theres a book out with some pictures. it's about faerie houses though. ahouldn't be hard to find, i forgot what its called!!!...

I think I found one when I was a kid. I grew up down south and there were always short fat acorns on the ground. One day I found one near the woods that was long with the same diameter as the short ones and a smoother texture. Out of curiousity I cracked it open and inside was a little fetal like creature. Looked just like a human baby but only about an inch long curled up. I was so suprized I dropped it and when I tried to find it on the ground it wasn't there anymore. I don't know what it was for sure but it was something.
