In some charts adding in the Goddesses makes a huge and practical difference and in other charts the Goddesses join forces with the other fundamental forces of the scope, the planets. I check out a scope without the Goddesses first, and I only look at basic angles/aspects. Then I add in the Goddesses and they can change everything, or not.
In the case of KEishin's chart (ASC 11:38 Cancer - I have this correct?), first thing I see is a wonderful KITE, with Pluto exploding up into a sweet Moon Mercury conjunction on the cusp of her 11th in Aries.
Wow, great astrologer's chart! With Cancer Rising KEishin's life work is about nurturing the needs of the children 7 generations from now. Generationally (Pluto) she is here to bring in the new paradigm (11th House Moon/Mercury). She is a pioneer (Moon/Mercury in Aries) but with Pie-in-the Sky-Please (Pisces) on her Midheaven, she will be known for her dreamy/prietess side. A Neptunian fame awaits her (whatever THAT means!).
Sun/ Chiron in Taurus in the 11th opposite Uranus! KEishin is a healer. She has healing hands, and she can do distance healing. WOW!!!! Mucho juju.
However, she needs friends to heal herself. She can't read her own scope worth beans either. Chiron is the healer/astrologer/warrior energy. Sun conjunct Chiron in the 11th is a classic astrologer's scope! Opposite Uranus, it is COSMIC.
KEishin has a Second House Mars T squared that same Sun/Chiron opposite Uranus axis. She must focus on the 8th House to balance that, and being an astrologer at Mysticwicks under screenname does just that. Just being an astrologer lights up the 8th House.
Lovely Grand Fire Trine! KEishin has charisma and she can inspire others. Neptune in the 6th in Sag. is the sign of a healer and someone who makes the mundane sacred, and the sacred is ordinary for her.
Great scope, all and all! Wonderful.
Now add the Goddesses what do we see? HA! The Mars of the T Square is opposite Juno in her 8th. Deep relationship, her marriage, (Juno) completes that T square! And there is another YOD and it is pointing to Ceres (the Mama) in Capricorn, powered by her Point of Fortune and her Saturn in the 7th. I think KEishin is suppose to (YOD) have a child, one at least. Marriage and child balance her chart.
As for the other Goddesses, Neptune in the 6th conjunct Vesta and Pallas Athena makes KEishin's Neptune VERY powerful.
Keishin uses her Saturn on the cusp of the 3rd skiills a lot in her readings. She is a very practical and detailed astrologer. Her Sun/Mercury oppposite Pluto, gives her the gift of easy word flow, and the Neptune in the 6th completes that fab. fire TRINE!
Surrendering more and more into service as an astrologer and healer (Neptune 6th House) accesses amazing psychic gifts and warrior strength (Vesta and Athena) for KEishin and turns on that Grand Fire Trine.
I also have Neptune in my 6th and making altars and running mantras while engaged in my chores are a couple ways I practice merging the physical and spiritual into ONE, day by day.
What are your thoughts on being a "Neptunian" Keishin?

In the case of KEishin's chart (ASC 11:38 Cancer - I have this correct?) Wow, great astrologer's chart! With Cancer Rising KEishin's life work is about nurturing the needs of the children 7 generations from now. Actually it's 28 Gemini 19.
It looks like you didn't take Daylight Savings into account, so subtract one hour. (I've done that more times than I want to remember so don't feel bad!) I agree with what you say, except nobody with a Cancer rising could talk as much as I do!
first thing I see is a wonderful KITE, with Pluto exploding up into a sweet Moon Mercury conjunction on the cusp of her 11th in Aries. I think that's why I like to poke and pry into psychology and other deep stuff for fun. (5th house focus for the Kite). Then with Moon/Mercury I'm really good at talking about it and explaining it to people. I only seem like a flirty, bouncy little fairy on the outside - inside is a whole different situation. Intense emotions and titanium-strength willpower. I am *no* pushover. If I were I wouldn't have survived this long. Nut look at the dispositor of my MC (Neptune) in . . . my 6th house of work. Is there any wonder I consider my true career to be stuff like astrology, art, and communion with deity as opposed to what I do 40 hours a week to pay the bills? Now if I could figure out how to get the two to coincide, I'd have it made. If I didn't do all the 'Pisces stuff' however I'd go bonkers, being trapped in the land of the doldrums. That's what makes my life worth living, IMO.
Sun/ Chiron in Taurus in the 11th opposite Uranus! KEishin is a healer. She has healing hands, and she can do distance healing. WOW!!!! Mucho juju. Yes, indeed. I've been studying Reiki for several years and have achieved the 'Master Level', though I feel far from mastering anything yet. :hahugh: So I can heal from a distance, or right next to someone - it's all the same. I'm an energetic battery of sorts - if I don't do something with all that juice it, not me, chooses how it wants to express itself . . . which is usually in a bouncing off the walls, acting like a fool sort of way. Being The Fool is one thing; being a fool is totoally different.
However, she needs friends to heal herself. She can't read her own scope worth beans either. Damn straight; I discover new things every day that surprise me. Figures too - classic Chiron expression of 'helping others to help oneself.' Add in the Pluto aspect and it's allabout using the rough stuff I've been through to help others. And I have trouble making friends as is common with the 11th house - it's hard to find folks with things in common with me.
Chiron is the healer/astrologer/warrior energy. Sun conjunct Chiron in the 11th is a classic astrologer's scope! Opposite Uranus, it is COSMIC. So much of my chart deals with that Uranus/Sun, Aqaurius/Leo axis it's scary. I love, love, LOVE technology and experimenting, and changing things around to see if I can improve them. I still remember the scolding I got when I took apart the family VCR as a child to figure out how it worked. Astrology fits nicely into that. I love math and poking and prodding with astrological symbolism helps me feel like I give back. On the negative side of all of this, I don't fit in. Never have. I'm told I'm "too passionate, too opinionated, too much an individual or too otherwordly." All subjective judgments which now I tend to ignore from others. You don't like that about me, then leave. Don't let the door hit you in the butt on the way out either.
KEishin has a Second House Mars T squared that same Sun/Chiron opposite Uranus axis. She must focus on the 8th House to balance that, and being an astrologer at Mysticwicks under screenname does just that. Just being an astrologer lights up the 8th House. Personally, I think I'm more a 3rd house Mars, but it is *so* close to the cusp it really could go either way. But if you want to discover the true meaning of "immovable object meets irresistable force," come visit me. But I'm more like to pick up the warrior archetype's sword to help others than myself, which is that 8th house in play.
Lovely Grand Fire Trine! KEishin has charisma and she can inspire others. Neptune in the 6th in Sag. is the sign of a healer and someone who makes the mundane sacred, and the sacred is ordinary for her. Great scope, all and all! Wonderful. Thank you! And thank you for doing this RedRose. I'm enjoying your assessment immensely. :)
Now add the Goddesses what do we see? HA! The Mars of the T Square is opposite Juno in her 8th. Deep relationship, her marriage, (Juno) completes that T square! And there is another YOD and it is pointing to Ceres (the Mama) in Capricorn, powered by her Point of Fortune and her Saturn. I think KEishin is suppose to (YOD) have a child, one at least. Marriage and child balance her chart. Interesting, I've been opposed to having children most of my life, for a variety of reasons. Don't get me wrong - I love children, but *other people's children*. I attribute that to Uranus and Pluto in the 5th - fear of losing freedom and reluctance to hand over control. But relationship balancing things out, oh yes indeed. Now to fnd the one who can keep up with me, and yet not give into the temptation to smack me when I get into the "power struggle" bit. (I'm not a nice person sometimes.)
Her Sun/Mercury oppposite Pluto, gives her the gift of easy word flow, and the Neptune in the 6th completes that fab. fire TRINE! Thank you! I got the gift o' the gab for certain. Now to find the "gift 'o shutting the hell up when I'm supposed to." All those fire planets just repeat that intensity theme. They're less like the flashy flames and more like the deep, hot and smoldering coals of a bonfire. Banked until needed of course. There's no need to waste that energy.
Surrendering more and more into service as an astrologer and healer (Neptune 6th House) accesses amazing psychic gifts and warrior strength (Vesta and Athena) for KEishin and turns on that Grand Fire Trine. Hmm, interesting. But I would say that yes, helping others through my skills has made a major improvement in my life. It also keeps me humble (mostly).
I also have Neptune in my 6th and making altars and running mantras while engaged in my chores are a couple ways I practice merging the physical and spiritual into ONE, day by day. Hehehe. I do something similar. I connect to the elements very often when cleaning house, such as water with washing dishes or earth with sweeping the floor. (I'm a Virgo 4H - I love to clean.) But I have little altars all over the house to various things too. It is impossible for me to separate my awareness of the spiritual from the physical - I just can't do it fully. Nor do I want to.
What are your thoughts on being a "Neptunian" Keishin? It a lot of ways it gives me almost a spiritual compulsion to help other people. I firmly believe that if you have the ability to help others then you are obligated to do so. That doesn't mean I give it away and forget about myself, but that if I'm in the situation to help and I can do so, then I do. I don't know that I have the whole 'psychic thing' that goes along with Neptune down just yet, but I tend to underestimate myself in that area. I'm an artist (and singer) so Neptune helps my creativity. Being part of the Trine spells it out precisely - bringing creativity into form (Saturn) that comunicates emotions and what needs to be said (Mercury/Moon). I would probably make a fabulous storyteller. As far as being the sacred being normal for me, I could see that. As I said before I can't separate the spiritual from my life. Of course that has its drawbacks, such as my dreams. Half the time I don't know if they're real or not. Not in a schizoid kind of way, but that they are so real and detailed. I also think my Neptune helps me with my teaching and priestessing responsibilities in the Pagan part of my life. (That's another thing I can't *not* do.) Goddess made it very clear that I work for her first and I can either accept it or resist and then just have to accept it more forecfully later. Stubborn lady - sounds like me. :D
Thank you VERY much for your insightful RedRose. this is why I love haning out at MW - seeing how other people view the same things differently from me

Hi KEishin,
That second YOD that appears when we add the Goddesses (asteroids) in is powered by Saturn and Part of Fortune, aimed at Ceres (the Mom) in the 7th House (of important one-on-one relationships). Part of Fortune is a bit lame in the context of a YOD, because it is no-thing; a pointer not an object. Yet....
I tend to see YODs as "You SHALL do this, this life!" The Finger of God trumps us and our feelings and our plans. YODs do you, they come from on high.
So if you do ever find yourself being a Mom, or doing one-on-one caregiving (with a parent, friend etc) at least you are assured that you will be blessed! Part of Fortune is a comforter and with Saturn also involved you will know that it is an important lesson, something you need to learn.
But again, a YOD with Part of Fortune may not be a true YOD. Keep us posted!
