I love learning about herbs, alternative medicine, crystals, etc., :boing: and I want to better educate myself on these subjects.
Does anyone know of a correspondence class I take here at home that has to do with herbs, crystals, etc.? Blessings,

Do you mean a course that does herbs and crystals together?
I know a excellent correspondent herbal course (in Scotland but do know they have taught a few international people before)
LOL I also know of a few courses to avoid

Lesson 1: An Herbal Introduction
This first Topic Module is an introduction to the class structure and to the topic of herbs, including safety information, an introduction to herb magick, and the creation of the personal herbal journal.
Lesson 2: Getting to Know Herbs
This unit will deal with familiarizing yourself with different types of herbs. For this unit, you will be reading about different properties of many herbs, and you will aquaint yourself with some resources that will be useful to you throughout this class.
Lesson Three: Herbs in History
In this unit, we will look at some historic herbals, read about historic approaches to herbal knowledge, and find out where our knowledge of herbs has come from.
Lesson Four: Connecting with Plants
In order for us to effectively work with plants and herbs, first we must build a deep connection with them. We must learn what it is they offer to us, and how to find their true worth. The assignments within this section all deal with different ways of forging deep and real connections with the herbs that you work magick with.
Lesson Five: Tools of the Magickal Herbalist
This unit outlines some of the tools that we as herbalists utilize, and describes how to use them to full advantage. The accompanying assignments will be practicums with our tools.
Lesson Six: Making Herbal Preparations
This unit will deal with the many different types of herbal preparations that you will be able to make. These include tinctures, incenses, ointments and balms, and many others. Some recipes you will read will be traditional, and some have been updated to reflect the products available today.
Lesson Seven: Herbal Crafts for Magick
In this unit, we will explore different types of magickal art and craft projects that can be made using herbs and herbal preparations.
Lesson Eight: Magickal Gardening
Gardening is an inherently magickal act. In this unit, we will explore different author's thoughts on gardening, and different ways to utilize the garden in meditation, ritual, and spellwork.
Lesson Nine: Herbal Spells and Charms
In this unit, we will cover the making and use of herbal spells and charms. We will also cover some magickal basics for those students with less magickal experience. We will look over historic spells that have been used for generations, as well as modern spells for the technopagan age.
esson Ten: Herbs in Divination
Herbs are an ancient part of the practice of magick. Divination, too, is a practice rooted in the long lost past. It is natural and right that the two should cross paths in our lives. This unit will describe the ways that herbs can be used to aid in divination, and as tools to divine the future in their own right.
Lesson Eleven: Overcoming Obstacles
There are times in your herbal magick where you will encounter some obstacles. Perhaps you don't have the herbs that the spellbook you're using calls for. Or perhaps you don't know what a certain term used in the recipe you're trying to recreate means.
This unit is dedicated to helping you through those tricky times when you're just not sure where to turn.
Lesson Twelve: Conclusions: Giving Back
This unit will wrap up the class with final thoughts and ideas. The course will conclude with a final examination.
