Perhaps it is just me, but I thought that it could be a good thing if we discussed Gods and Goddesses that help us in healing. Personally, I have found Brigit to be helpful. A ritual that I found about a year ago, I'll be posting a little later. I need to find it again in my notes. :)

I'm working on learning how to heal myself of a great deal of trauma. I'd like to help others heal as well, Brigit has been inspiring both my healing and my efforts to help others. Mainly, she helped me to find that my writing helps me the most and it seems to be helping others as well.

I look forward to reading about what healing experiences you all have had. Perhaps we have some in common.

Blessings. :)

Another healing goddess is the ancient Persian goddess Ahurani, who was a goddess of water and was invoked for health, healing, prosperity, and growth.
Another is the Roman goddess Bona Dea. While she was mostly a fertility goddess, she was also a healing goddess and the sick were tended in her temple garden with medicinal herbs.

Was she worshipped at Bath during the Roman occupation of Britan??

Or am I thinking of a different Goddess?

I'm assuming you're refering to Bona Dea, seeing as how she's roman... :) You may also know her by the name Fauna.
I don't know where exactly she was worshiped, but she had a temple on Aventine Hill, in Rome, and her rituals were often held in the home of an important Roman magistrate.
Oh, and she was only worshiped by women. During her rites, all statues of men and other animals were covered up.

Time to add another thing to the list of things I've learned today.
Thanks. :D
