I would dearly appreciate a chart. I've never devled any deeper than reading the horoscopes in the newspaper and am intrigued to know what more there is to it.

1. Date of birth - February 20, 1987
2. Time of birth - 8:45pm
3. Location of birth - Adelaide, South Australia, Australia.

Of course, only if anyone has the time to spare.

Evie Lee,
I'm not a very advanced reader, but I would be glad to tell you what I can about your chart. Can you send me a pm with your e-mail address, or I can pm you. It would help if you can tell me what you already know about your chart - do you know anything at all about your sun sign, or will we be starting from the absolute beginning?

Look forward to hearing from you. :)

You’ve got quite the Sun there in your chart! While in demure and retiring Pisces, he doesn’t make any aspects to any other planets. If you think of aspects as lines of communication, the Sun is off the hook from the rest of the world (your chart) and tends to wander off and do his own thing. The problem with this of course (*especially* with a Pisces Sun) is that there be a loss of touch with reality and often with your own sense of identity. You may often feel incomplete or someone missing a part of yourself. Where your Sun is placed is where you want to “blaze your own path” in life, so to speak. This being the 6th house of work and service, my immediate guess is that you work (or volunteer) in a service position. Hard work and challenging situations are certainly indicated within your work environment. Sometimes these can be self-imposed. You seek perfection and distinction in your work and this quality could bring you well-paid, responsible positions. It could also bring you an ulcer too, so be careful.

Your Scorpio Moon is intense and obsessed at times . . . especially if it involves money or material stuff. I highly recommend you open a savings account and put something away on a regular basis. I’m not saying you’ll have a financial disaster, but there are always up times to balance the down times (the Moon has tides), and you may get hit harder than most. While we’re at it, go get a health checkup too. Sixth house Suns tend to catch every little germie that wanders by. Also, though this might not be in your plans right now, keep a close on your health if you plan to have children. Anyway, tie this passionate emotional storm back in to your self-sacrificing Sun and on occasion you find yourself put on by others, and torn by emotions and desperate to do the right thing, you become easily confused, giving way for the sake of peace and harmony. This may leave the impression of your being weak-willed. Hah! I wouldn’t count on it.

Mix the Sun and Moon with your prim Virgo rising and you have this intelligent and retiring sort of vibe. You may feel you walk around with a sign that says “I’m Smart” on your forehead. Okay, so you tend to be a bit nitpicky (not always bad), but you are the best person to have around when sort and organizing is called for. One great gift is your ability for interpreting ideas. You have the capability of taking an idea and transforming it into something everyone can appreciate and understand. Always acting from the highest ideals your kind nature endears you to others. You really do work best with others in the lead, though you may not think so. You don’t always have the objectivity to work alone. You tend to lack self-confidence in intellectual matters, preferring to evaluate situations on the intuitive and imaginative level - feeling your way through life rather than reasoning and evaluating events. Remember what I said about your Sun – you tend to think you can always go it alone. Regardless of your choices, it is advisable for you to be very aware of your habitual thinking patterns and consciously focus on positive possibilities, as a negative attitude can adversely affect your health. (Don’t worry so much.) The basic key here is to avoid ‘either/or’ thinking and pay your dues to the status quo while still pursuing your own alternative path in the ways that really matter.

Shyness comes naturally, though with that populated 7th house you probably can be the life of the party when you choose. You may even neglect your personal interests by devoting so much of your time and energy to thinking about other people and their needs. Do mind whom you party with however. Don’t take in every lost soul that wanders by and asks for your help (you’re a sucker for the sob story). I call it the “Mother Theresa gene" – you attract (and are attracted to) the needy. You appear calm and collected on the outside, but with Mercury in dreamy Pisces you may not always see the other person (and their motives!) very clearly. Ask a trusted friend before you do anything drastic.

I’m going to touch briefly on that mighty Grand Cross in your chart. It’s encompasses your Moon, Saturn, Mercury and Ascendant. A Grand Cross is like having four different planets pulling in four different directions. They tend to work against each other and go absolutely nowhere. You have much trouble organizing your thoughts, and your lack of discipline is a constant hassle to both you and others. You can say things that are simply impractical and have trouble limiting yourself to ideas that are down-to-earth, pragmatic. You may feel limited in your ability to communicate with Chiron in the 9th. You have all these things you feel you need to teach but no place or way to do so. Often it takes outside events to break this stalemate and figure out what you're supposed to do in life. You long to travel, teach, write, explore or do any of those other 9th house things, but due to other responsibilities, your feet are stuck firmly on the ground. It’s likely you never completed any higher education and still regret that fact. You could end up studying or traveling fanatically, in an attempt to either outrun your pain (not likely . . . you can’t run from yourself) or (hopefully) to heal it. This applies to religion as well. You could develop a fanatical viewpoint hoping for it to ‘make everything better.’ You would do best to structure your approach to life using sound morals and constructive, honorable and just social values.

Thank you very much KEishin! Many of the things you said ring true, but seeing them from someone else's perspective shines a different light on them. I'll definitely be storing this away for future reference. Thanks again.

jcap, thank you for the offer. Unfortunately, I forgot that this was my thred, and when I saw a reply to it didn't think to go and check until today. lol. Sorry.

evie lee ...

interesting and very focused chart, a nice "bread basket" focusing on the lower right quadrant of your chart. presently the sun, chiron, mercury, neptune and venus are in aquarius at the 'bottom' of the basket being fed by and feeding the energy of your entire chart.

with all those planets in aquarius, they are probably raising some deep energies related to your saturn/uranus conjunction sandwiching your IC ... with uranus making its conjunct to mercury near your DC, uranus and its urge to express individualization and break away ... or shake up ... life at its core or roots is likely a strong urge presently.

your intuitive healing abilities may be a focus for you right now as jupiter is moving into an opposition to chiron that is the focus of a yod in your 9th house (moon, venus & chiron). jupiter will try to help you expand your ability to raise and push your consciousness into realms that you possibly were never exposed to, considered, or believed to exist. this is a great chance to expand in areas where you were perhaps hurt or sacrificed yourself for the benefit of others without realizing or needing to receive equal benefit for yourself yourself as well in order to have balance in your life.

you will be experiencing a flow of new energy and information for you to assimilate into your life that could change the course of the direction of your life ... the battle of the rulers of aquarius over your core can cause great conflict within you if you are unable to help them work together ... uranus wants freedom, saturn wants structure ... freedom must have structure and structure must provide freedom.

but too often we allow external circumstances and other people to define the structure rather than allowing ourselves to create one that provides for our needs and growth. you experience this balancing act at the most intimate levels of your being that not even your closest friends, lovers or family members will ever understand. chaos or disharmony in the circumstances of your life will reflect the imbalance of those two planets.

jupiter will soon be going retrograde and focusing its desire to expand the structure when it conjuncts saturn as it makes its retrograde turn toward the end of march 2k7. really take the opportunity between now and then to expand your foundations of understanding, the structures in your life and allow them to be as deep and vast as possible so that you can build and expand on that foundation for your future. if you are able to do that, when jupiter moves over your IC and uranus after november 2k7, you will find so many ways to exercise your freedoms that saturn will be happy to support and let you spread your wings and fly.

there will be a time to take off, right now, its the gritty work of understanding how you fly, where you want to fly, what you want to do when you do get the opportunity to fly and building your 'home base' so to speak ... success is guaranteed through steady planning and being ready when the unexpected opportunity comes and say "if you're ready, let's go!"

i hope this helps you on your journey ...

Thank you SO much. Although I didn't understand all of it, I'm now going to endeavour to get more in depth with my astrrology. And thanks for providing the chart - v. useful. :)
