Interesting topic. I love the Victorian Halloween site! :)

My mother was really into this stuff and was a bit of a proto-goth I think with all the death symbolism and grave yard visits we enjoyed. 8O

Some links:

I bought Patrica Telesco's Victorian Grimoire: Romance, Enchantment, Magic (http://www.amazon.com/Victorian-Grimoire-Romance-Enchantment-Magic/dp/0875427847) years ago because of that though I really never read it much, it does have some handy information and I'd recommend it for light stuff and some Kitchen Witchery aspects.

If you love Victoriana and culture The Victorian Trading Company (http://www.victoriantradingco.com/index.html) is an excellent source of trinkets, paper, and some books too.

The Victorian Web (http://www.victorianweb.org/) has lots of information on the era and Victorian Web: Religion section (http://www.victorianweb.org/religion/relov.html) has some interesting history.

Victorian Faery Beliefs:

While not strictly about Victorians these articles are interesting: Fairies and their kin (http://www.indigogroup.co.uk/edge/fairies.htm) and Lost in Faery (http://www.indigogroup.co.uk/edge/Fairies2.htm)

Okay a tad OT, but I had to share this.

Antique Clipart - Free Public Domain Clipart (http://rds.yahoo.com/_ylt=A0geupi8prZFhq0Ax7VXNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTE3ZnY3YWZ0BGNvbG8DZQRsA1dTMQRwb3MDMQRzZWMDc3IEdnRpZANERlI1X zEwMQ--/SIG=11ehdunno/EXP=1169684540/**http%3a//antiqueclipart.com/) -- there's tons there. Awesome too.
I'm just on the flowers section, there's like 18 pages. *squee*
So much stuff to look at! Animals, objects, people...
