In case you haven't heard of it, Pagaian Cosmology is a Pagan spiritual system based on both the wheel of the year and on a Naturalistic, scientific worldview. As such, it is closely tied to Pantheism, Naturalistic Paganism, and similar spiritual approaches discussed in this forum.

The term PaGaian Cosmology was put on wikipedia for these reasons, but is now being discussed for deletion. Please visit and comment, especially if you are a current wikipedia contributor, but even if not (if not, be sure to state first that you are new - that's just basic honesty). Please consider and explain how Pagaian Cosmology is new, relevant, and useful.

The page describing it is:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PaGaian_Cosmology.

To comment on it's deletion/retention, go to :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Pagaian_Cosmology

and click on [edit], then add your comment like the others have. My comment is on there, for instance.

Note that discussion is cut off on Feb 1 (tomorrow), so if you are going to do something, you need to do it now.

(just noticed I missed the "e" in pantheist in the title - Oh well.)

Blessed be-

Argh. Didn't see this thread before today. I would have commented in favor of keeping it, though it seems like the tide would have been difficult to turn.

I'm tempted to post something about this on a secularism board where I mod. We have a forum on Non-Abrahamic religions, but pantheism is generally discussed there as a philosophy, not a religion. It would be interesting to see how a mostly non-theist audience interprets the dispute.

Didn't see this till today. Going to look for other reference to Pagaian Cosmology to see how it differs from other forms of pantheism and how it is a valuable term. Thank you for sharing, sorry I couldn't see this sooner!

It's a small cosmos. This I know.

I'm a moderator at an atheist/secularist forum (long story), and I posted about the pagaean movement (http://www.iidb.org/vbb/showthread.php?t=195164) over there after this Wikki article was deleted. The thread didn't go very far in the Non-Abrahamic Religions forum, but today I found that Glennis Livingstone, the author of Pagaean Cosmology found the site by googling "pagaean". She posted a link to this article (http://blog.nearthwort.com/2007/02/14/pagaian-cosmology/). Happy reading.
