After taking a look at your chart, here’s the breakdown:
First, I look at your Sun, Moon and Ascendant (the Big Three I call ‘em) for the basic theme of your personality. In your case you have the Sun and Moon in Aquarius and Scorpio rising. Combining your Sun and Moon produces a strong nature – strange but strong. You are open-minded, philosophical and intelligent. But you can be mentally hyperactive at times prompting you to procrastinate and seem more eccentric and weird than you may prefer. (Then again, you are an Aquarius, and they don’t mind being weird.) A very reserved individual, you often express yourself in quiet ways, always remaining perfectly capable of communicating disapproval without saying even a word. Most people think of you as a very reasonable person and in many ways you are. It is very difficult, however, to ever persuade you that you are wrong because of a highly inflexible core within. Both Aquarius and Scorpio are fixed signs, meaning that they tend not to change easily and add a high degree of focus and determination in your nature. Add in that Pluto and Mars (the two rulers of Scorpio) are both rising and you come across as a *very* determined and intense personality. You may not say much at first but you definitely don’t miss a thing. You always have your one way of doing things and resist being told what to do. You find it hard to fit in with current values on a social level and much prefer to go your own way. You may rush to judgment or problem solving without thinking. It's like you get addicted to the rush of success. But we can't succeed all the tine, so when you fail, you may choose not to accept it and fight and argue when your solutions aren't accepted. Often you may use the tactic of appearing not to understand the other person's point of view, even when it is quite clear to you. Yet you are a very understanding of people and their problems, and you usually can remain very much detached so are a good listener and provide sound advice. Emotions just don’t register on your mind. You understand they’re there but you don’t let them influence you. Whether you are in business or scientific pursuits, you are motivated by a very deep interest in doing something positive for the world and improving people's lives. With your Sun and Moon in the 3rd house, the way you will do that is through the ways you communicate.
One place you might want to watch is your intercepted Virgo/Pisces axis. In non-astrologer lingo that means they are intercepted signs. Those types of signs occur in pairs and come about in the following way. As one moves higher in latitude there is more of a distortion between the horizon and zenith which causes houses at the poles to be very extreme sizes. Nearer to the equator they are more of an even size. In your chart this means the 10th and 4th houses are wider than 30 degrees, so those two signs I mentioned fit inside the houses instead of overlapping them. When a sign hides (is intercepted) in a house it causes all sorts of kinks in express balanced energy. When it’s Virgo and Pisces it shows where you tend not to discriminate (Pisces) and on the other pole are super-picky (Virgo). So you are much more detailed oriented and focused at work or school than you with your family. You probably let them get away with all sorts of behavior you’d never dream of accepting from your peers. With Ceres in your 4th house and part of the T-square with Uranus and the North Node your life was not likely very stable and this can cause you to have trouble with relationships now, quite possibly from low self-esteem (Chiron in the 7th). You nurture your family and care deeply for them, waiting for them to turn about and do the same for you. This upbringing made it really hard for you to assert yourself. Perhaps your parents would ignore you when you got mad; you were rendered powerless when they disapproved of you. That's a lot of repressed anger. Get involved in sports or martial arts to express some of that constructively. Otherwise you’ll drive yourself crazy waiting for reciprocation. The solution is to look at Neptune in your chart for solutions. He’s conjunct both benefics - Jupiter the traditional ruler of Pisces and Venus, both in Capricorn, which is an excellent bonus. (It’s like having two good luck charms) Turn more to your mystic side and find a way to bring those dreams to reality. Find a way to make the world the way you wish it could be for you.
On the flip side there’s Virgo, also intercepted ruled by your Mercury in Capricorn. As I said, Virgo is in your 10th house, which is career and status. You may focus so obsessively on details in those areas that you lose sight of why you are doing so in the first place. You may bury yourself in your work in order to avoid your feelings. Maybe you can't even handle details. Your speech can be overly precise or vague and misleading. (Mercury does rule Gemini too, the sign of the twins) Here the solution is again to look to Mercury. He’s in his favorite place to be – the 3rd house, so the lesson again here is to communicate. Use that sense of quality and discrimination to prosper. You love to work with younger people and would make a superb teacher or coach (another function of the 3rd house – teaching). Overall you have a very intense chart – full of power and energy, drive and determination. Once you can harness there will be no stopping you.
