 I've actually dabbled a bit with this, but there's some things I'm just not sure about in my chart, other than that I'm blaming the sun/moon opposition for being socially screwed up, and some of the rest adds to that. I'm curious to see what I'm missing and to see other interpretations, as from what I've seen of others' charts, mine seems a bit different (to me) in some ways than others'.

Birth Date: 9th January 1982
Birth Time: 12:25 p.m. (as in a bit after noon!)
Birth Place: Carmichael, CA, USA

If there's anything else you need, let me know. Oh, and I'm female, BTW!

Here, you have your Sun in Capricorn, Moon dignified in Cancer and Taurus rising. These are all very conservative signs – even with a Sagittarius stellium (cluster of planets) you are not very flashy or tend to act without thinking. Well, usually. While highly sensitive and somewhat introspective, you don’t waste your time on things that won’t work. Cancer and Capricorn balance each other – emotions and shrewd ambition. So you feel, but you never let it interfere with what needs to get done. That wouldn’t be practical. Yet be willing to trust your intuitive impressions or feelings about things to guide you in the right direction. You feel deeply about your home and family and quite frankly need their support to feel confident about yourself even though relationships with your parents were likely strained. With the Sun conjuncting the South Node major circumstances may have denied you opportunities for self-expression, limiting your leadership and personal power. You may instead fear your own power, which blocks your creative ability and intellect. Emotionally, you feel at cross purposes to everyone else. It's not that they are intentionally trying to thwart you, but that you just don't fit in. (It's up to you if that's a good or bad thing.) As such, you spend most of your time taking care of others rather than yourself. By doing so, you hope to prove yourself to others as useful and strong. You will measure your success in life not so much by your inner sense of values, but by the impact you make on other people. You are always ready to fight for whatever cause comes your way, especially if involves crusading, underdogs or freedom fighters. You could also make an excellent teacher and compensate for your lack of confidence by producing extraordinary students. Try to give yourself guidance as if you were another person. Then maybe you’ll take it!

The whole introversion/extroversion thing is going to be a struggle for you. You prefer to be rather secretive so as not to get hurt or look like a fool, so you may find that social opportunities can pass you by. Your tendency to get harsh, both with yourself and with those around you, may mean that you spend a lot of time alone. That’s not to say you’re socially awkward, but with Venus in Aquarius ruling your Taurus Ascendant it will be necessary to take the role of a leader to finally fill that inner need you have for respect. Loyalty is important any hurts you receive can tend to fester for a long time. The sign on the Ascendant generally reveals how people start anything new. Taurus, by nature, is resistant to change. With a fixed sign on the Ascendant, they are not known for their flexibility. Rather, they possess determined single-mindedness. It can be difficult to sway you – you’re often rather stubborn and fixed in your ways. You keep your feelings and emotions to yourself and resent any attempt to analyze or probe them. Any attempt to avoid confronting life at the personal level is bound to frustration. You would rather skirt your sensitive and vulnerable areas and concentrate on your career, but they always intrude and refuse to be banished. In fact this may mean you’re not appreciating some of what I’m telling you right now. You appreciate the honest truth however, so don’t let yourself avoid your own truth even if it’s not pleasant.

Yet at the same time your sights are set on the furthest horizon. There is a love of the foreign and exotic, which is best expressed through a desire for travel as indicated by your Sun in the 9th house. You are someone who hates being confined to work behind a desk. As much as you value security and stability you simply must continue to expand your understanding of the world around you. You may simply ending up doing a lot of traveling for work, have a job in a foreign culture, or work for/with those who travel for a living to satisfy this need.

No matter what you do it is certain you will rise to high status or otherwise be recognized for your hard work. You instinctively understand that good things require work and time and are more than willing to expend the effort necessary to reach your goals. Just make sure to be responsible and don’t set your own ambitions against reality. The latter just leads to frustration.
