Introduction
Plamen Oren is a story that has been 4 years in the making. I started with a bare-bones story plot in my freshman year of college and now, in my final semester, my dream has become a reality. I’ve finally published my first novel.
Book information
The story itself takes place on earth in a time never documented. I tried to create a world of magic while still holding true to the time period, or what we as modern people have discovered about per-historic people. By prehistoric I don’t mean cave-people but more along the lines of druids, spirits, and hunter-farmers. I added the magical element as a backdrop, more so because I want the characters and their personalities to be the main focus of the story. Plamen Oren is more about overcoming personal demons, not fighting real demons. The story has been edited by not one but two senior English majors at LaSalle university (so if you find an un-doted eye or uncrossed t…) and has been proofed for cultural accuracy. The first chapter is available for free so if you’re interested, please preview the book.
My background
I’ve been published in several university level publication including the Grimoire, and Collegian. Before that I’ve had poetry published in several anthologies. I’m a digital art and English dual major so everything (cover, formatting, layout) was done by me (with the help of a fellow digital arts student. I must give credit where its due.)
Well without further ado, here is the link to the novel:
