"The Sibylline Order of Wicca has as its purpose the training of individuals 18 years or older interested in becoming self-sufficient, self-actualizing Priests and Priestesses of Wicca.
"The course runs 6 months and covers basic theory: history, psychology, tools, principles of magic, physics, beginning meditation, intermediate applications: advanced meditation, ritual writing and practice, and advanced practices: shamanism, house blessing, astrology, Kabbalah, spell work, and Wo/men's Mysteries, herbalism. The school is open to anyone of sound mind and honorable ethics. Initiation is offered by the Order to those who request it, and who meet the Order's standards of ethics and mental health."
This class will begin MAY 21, 2002, and will be taught by Lisa and Amber. Class will be located in the south Austin area. Our combined areas of expertise are hearth magic, herbalism, comparative religion, Kabbalah, magical theory, philosophy, and history of religion. We are committed to changing and challenging the Wiccan community through genuine education, not merely regurgitating material gleaned from New Age bookshelves.
You will not be required to make any purchases during this course. There will be required reading, but all materials will be provided for you. We will be exploring many areas of Wicca, as well as doing some energy work to tune up our senses.
