I ran across this article while browsing Cindi's List for new genealogy sites, don't know if anyone has posted it before or not.

While that's, uh, an astonishingly slanted article in places, I do kinda think the loyalists are overlooked (or unnecessarily dismissed as evil) in a lot of stories about the revolution.

There's a monument to them on the waterfront downtown in my neck of the woods.

I know there are two sides to every story, but wow, THAT is quite a story! Can't you just see our founding fathers sitting around a table discussing how to better their illegal trade businesses instead of making the constitution? Maybe that is how our constitution was made!!:hahugh: " if you can give me a free secret trail through HERE, then I will give you 2 seats in the senate."

interesting but the writer's tone is so aggressively hostile that he's not going to get uch of a look I fear.
