the power of numerology?

numerology is the study of the occult (hidden) significance of numbers and letters. In analyzing one's name and date of birth, numerology is a tool to help us understand the Eternal OM and our place in it. If you use one of the many ways of numerology with your name, it can tell you your personality, your strengths and weaknesses, what you need to work on and what you have to work with, and where you are coming from. My question is, if you were named something different at birth than the name you have now, would your personality be different? What if you were born on a different day? Would you still be the same person? How much power does a name have over a person?

Also, I have noticed that people sharing the same name share the same personality properties, like all guys named Tony Ive known are asses. All John/Jons I've ever known liked sci-fi, ect. Is this numerology at work?

I'd be the same person. While I respect numerology in regards to certain things (repetitions of things, ordering of things), I find it lacking when it is applied to the English alphabet. English is too... haphazard, and has developed and changed too randomly and spontaneously. Numerology within a culture needs a certain baseline to function well, and the English language doesn't have that. Applied to certain other alphabets, say Hebrew and certain runic alphabets, it makes sense, as they were built together, and held together through tradition and culture.

Very true that your vibration changes depending on what name you use.. if you are Mary Elizabeth at work and Kat on the weekend with friends - for example.

Experiment with it some yourself, watch people that you know. I think it is funny when the lightbulb moment happens

another example is people behave differently around say gma who uses their given name of Elizabeth -- yet everywhere else work/weekends with friends she is Liz

all the while thinking it is just cause of gma -- till someone starts calling her Elizabeth and you can see the vibration shift
