The Period of the Irish Famine, in Pictures.

I thought this was interesting, though in a kind of morbid page. I found this section on the website, while perusing the mass of information they have stored about the Irish Potato Famine. They even have newspaper extracts from those years..which is always interesting. But..I thought these illustrations particularly interesting, as it gives you a sort of feel for what Farming Life for the Irish in that Era, was like.
