Weekly Divination~ Is it the deceased?

One of the most common questions that comes up in regard to dream divination is what does it mean to dream of someone that has passed/died.

So what does it mean to you?

Is it an actual visit from the dearly departed persons spirit?

Is it just your memory and how you are processing the info?

Does it depend on the dream and the content or location?

Is it astral travel and not a dream?

or a dream and not astral travel?

I'm going to have to say that it depends on the dream, the feeling of the dream, the content of the dream, etc.

I know people who have very strong connections to the spirit world, and I don't discount their dreams or visions at all. I have not personally had any that felt quite that intimate. I did have a dream involving the location of a body, but did not interact with the actual person.

I've also had dreams where I "felt" like a departed loved one was near and took it as a sign they had moved on & wanted me to know that they were happy & ok.

Then too, I've simply had dreams that were like memories.

So, for me... if it feels like real contact, then it probably is. I think it is ultimately up to the dreamer to decide on that issue. :)

I am with you Lisa, dreams are something that you really have to get in touch with yourself and you will feel the differences.

I personally believe that spirits can come to you in dreams, and you have memories and astral travel.

There are differences in the details, for what is what. And like most divination people have to know their own cues...much in the same way you need to know what your yes and your no are when it comes to a pendulum.

I'm working on the theory that dreams are a form of contacting a different side to reality, so it's all very possible to me that someone who had died could be contacting you. I also think it could merely be a message manifesting itself in the visage of this person - either way, this person is significent in understand the message.
