If so, who or what do you pray to?

If not, do you give thanks? Who or what do you give thanks to?

i wouldnt call so much of a prayer or that its directed at anything. just more a daily spell for protection, healing, help, and happiness for my few loved ones.

I’m not sure if I’d consider myself a non-theist -or that I’d even be considered one!
But no, I usually don’t pray. I mean if something’s going on that I think I can’t handle I do a quick “please let this get better” or something along those lines, but I don’t go through the whole ritual of actually praying.
When there are people around me who want to pray, I do bow my head in respect, but I’m not praying right along with them.
I do give thanks.
To the Universe, to those who’ve had a hand in helping get whatever I’m eating there, the fates, stuff.
I’m grateful, but I don’t feel I have to go through an entire ritual to give a simple thank you.

In me beliefs there is no one to pray too and what for?

As for giving thanks, just because I am an atheist doesnt mean I am not a spiritualist.
I have many spirits to thank, the tree spirits for giving me shade and air and a home for the birds I love watching.
The spirits of the water I thank, the spirits of the wind, the spirits of many!
Not to mention I thank the spirits of my animals for manifesting into food for me along with the spirit of the plants I eat and drink.

And of course I thank my own spirit for helping me be aware. :)

I don't pray.
I ground & shield daily, & I'm considering trying Cosmic Ordering aswell.
I need to do more daily meditation really.
I'm feeling spiritually 'off' at the moment. _inabox_

I babble and talk to...who or what I don't know. If anything it's just myself. I don't do it all the time, only by myself too. I wouldn't really call it prayer though. When I'm confused or having issues I often babble about them and ask (who or what I don't know) for a sign or message. I believe in signs, sychronicities, etc. Whether they're from a deity, the Universe or my own subconscious I don't know. I'm agnostic about the gods and I still have my theistic tendencies. I figure if a deity is up there, literal and interceeding (which I don't really believe) they might help me out ...or my own sub/un-conscious might just help me out.

No, I don't pray. If there's a question I'm looking for an answer to or a situation I'm trying to deal with, I look for the answers within myself, if that makes sense.

Just out of curiosity, what is cosmic ordering?

I don't pray, occassionally I'll do a spell, just sort of directed towards the universe, the earth, whatever. it doesn't make sense in words, but it works for me.

Here's a link for you with some info on it;

I've also posted a thread concerning it in Magic & Rituals, because I'm trying to learn about it myself-but nobody's replied yet..._inabox_

Yes, because I think verbally, and that is how I put my thoughts together, so essentially it becomes prayer. I don't sit here and ask the Universe to drop money on my doorstep...tried that years ago on the advice of others...nothing happened.

Lots of prayers of awareness, and praise, and acceptance.

It helps me "tune in"

I don't pray.
If I give thanks, it's to the person who's deserving of those thanks. :)
