This weeks topic is what about divination done by a person that has been drinking or using a legal or illegal drug.

Does that help them or hinder them in the ability to divine?

I have fun doing readings when I've been drinking. As long as I'm not falling down drunk, I think it can lessen my inhibitions and allow me to say certain things that I might not put quite so bluntly when I'm not impaired. ;)

I also believe that certain types of drugs can heighten spiritual experiences (no I haven't tried most of them) and that would include divination.. as long as you're not so impaired that you can't see the cards because they've turned into turtles... or rainbows... look a chicken! :D

I'm not big on it now a days.
Although there was a time when I only read high
(pretty much always was high).

Personally I find my readings are more in depth and accurate now that I'm sober.

It's a case of different strokes for different folks I guess.
But I wouldn't necessarily trust a reading from anyone regardless of if they were under the influence or not.

I'd say it could help or hinder, depending on the person and the substance used
