I have Shamanic Spirit by Kenneth Meadows, and have also seen his book Shamanic Experience. He's also written Earth Medicine, The Medicine Way, and Rune Power, and was cofounder of the "Faculty of Shamanics" in England.

Do any of you who are more experienced/knowledgeable have input on whether his books are worth reading?

With the exception of Rune Power all those are on the shelf waiting for me to get to them :) so I can't really say.

I do remember that I picked up Medicine Way because it mentioned Falcon, something which I don't see very often and since that is my totem I snagged it :)

I would recommend his material - I own "Where Eagles Fly" and "the Medicine Way". I thoroughly enjoyed each book, as they brought me into closer resonance with the meanings of the directions of the medicine wheel and the idea of expanding the concepts of ancient shamanism into a modern context (ie. shamanics). Each section was usually accompanied with practical exercises for deeper understanding and illustration of his points. All in all, his were books that upon completion I could dub as good purchases, well worth their cost and my time to read, in my humble opinion. That's not something that can be said of all of my choices in metaphysical or philosophical material to be sure.

Good luck!

A note to Vigdisdotter: This may be a silly question - but have you looked into the works of Ted Andrews regarding totem animals? "Animal Speak" and "Animal Wise" are amazing resources for those interested in this area. I've found no other resource yet to compare to his compiled information. David Carson's Medicine Cards are useful, but I generally supplement his interpretations to the study of Mr. Andrews. It can be difficult to find much relating specifically to Falcon, as many authors on the subject of totems cram it together with Hawk or sometimes even Eagle.
