Weekly Divination ~ Before you start

This week, what do you do BEFORE you do divination?

Do you bathe, meditate, lay out a certain table, light a candle, use incense?

I don't do anything special. :)
I feel tapped in all the time.

It all depends on my mood, the reason I need to to the divination, and how much time I have to devote to it.



Do you bathe, meditate, lay out a certain table, light a candle, use incense? I do these at various times but it also depends on the shape and energy of my tools that dictate sometimes what I do.

I write the question or focus of the divination in my journal. Then I lay out the cloth I do readings on, hold the cards in my hand, and take a deep breath. Then I'm good to go.

I make sure there's enough space on the couch/bed/table/floor to lay out however many cards feeling like being used at the moment.

Yep, I'm with aranarose. LOL I have to clean up my workspace. Then I just take a few deep breaths, clear my mind (ground & center) then begin shuffling, etc.
