yeah, pictures would be great.
i was born right near there! and this doesn't surprise me too much, as Chester had a formidable Roman presence.
but again, it's cool that things like this still turn up from time to time.
and i need a coin from this particular find in my collection!

Heh..greenman..when I was looking into Helvetia for Rowansoleil, i found many sites that mentioned coins from Helvetia during roman rule. Have one of those?

no, but i wish i did.
some of the Barbarous radiates of that time were very interesting in their interpretations of classic Roman themes.
and the Celtic tribal coins of those days are interesting indeed. damn weird artistic ideas! i'll see if i can find a good link.
