We just learned about destiny and birth cards in our tarot lessons here at the house. Regarding the destiny cards, they instruct us not to break down the number, unless it is greater than 22. 22 = O The Fool. What I was wondering, is if this is also regarding you life this time around, which is what the whole point of the Destiny drawing is . . . does this also point towards a maximum of 22 times that we go through the cauldron? IE Would a person who is 22, or The Fool, be a new soul? Never having another life previous to this one? I'm just curious.
Thanks

I think that is an interesting idea. I guess it is a possibility, since none of us really know for sure. If it resonates with you, then why not?
I'm not sure if that was the intention of the exercise though. Which book are you using? It sounds like they don't want you to break it down before 22 because you have 22 options of Major Arcana, but after 22 you need to break it down because there aren't any more than 22 Major cards in the tarot. I think it is more of a way to fit it into the tarot deck than it is any real comment on reincarnation.
