I had a fun conversation today and it reminded me of a fun thread we did not long ago.

I had asked how do you know what a witch/pagan looks like.

Well this week a bit different, how do you know what a person does (with out asking them) based on how they dress, act, talk etc.

I am pretty good at knowing, and for me it is a knowing, more of a feeling. generally I start with a hmmm he seems geeky, or artsy or such.

I read the energy of the person, and put together the clues like a puzzle.

We have a brand new neighbor and I said hmm I don't know he seems kinda a nerd type, but artsy. Quiet and I just can't tell!

Which everyone LOVED since I am usually able to guess and guess well...

come to find out he makes artificial eyes!

Kinda cool! and seriously I NEVER would have guessed that (even though we have family members with artificial eyes).

So share with us, what do you look for, read, to know what a person does?

Some people say look at the shoes! Others look in the eyes!

laughs

what do you think??

OR do you think you can even really tell? and miss hope is the oddity in her guessing :)

I can usually tell things about people by the way that they move,
by their manner of dress and by the words that they use if they're speaking to someone else.

So if they use words that strike me as being business like I'd lean towards administration or office work. If she's wearing a beat up t-shirt and has circles under her eyes I'd guess she works nightshifts or is a stay at home Mom. Some people are harder to read than others though! *laughs*

Sometimes I can look at them and just know...
maybe it's reading their energy, maybe it's something else?
I haven't really tried to do that on purpose,
I'll be starting in a retail job soon so I'll play this game at work.

A few friends and I were at a club recently where many of the people were dressed up in goth or drag, etc. It was fun trying to figure out how they might actually make a living... especially because once the clothes & make up come off... you still have to deal with the HAIR!

My thought one guy in particular, who was quite hot and had a lovely, braided top knot, was that he was probably in some sort of IT field... where you can more easily get away with being "outlandish".

But then, yesterday, I saw a different gentleman who also had a braided top-knot and he was working in construction. Definitely not the same dude, but it was interesting how a hair style had made me think. :)

and my honey has long beautiful hair and he works in an office, suit and tie everyday... strange world isn't it.
