otherwise known as 'my bridge'! the masterpiece of modern engineering opened to the public on this day in 1937.
i love this bridge, cause it symbolises the city that i love, San Francisco!
i used to ride my bike over that bridge as a kid. i've walked it twice, and driven under those beautiful 'art deco' towers more times than i can count! and when i moved north, it became the gateway to concerts, parties, and all kinds of notorious fun!
so wonderfully simple in it's design, and yet such a massively BIG structure.
