A Tarot class?

Don't want to step on anyone's toes, but I'm considering holding some Tarot classes in my area, and would like to put together a "test" class here. Would anyone be interested in a Tarot class? This would be a basic intro class on reading intuitively. I would get into the standard meanings some, but it would be more about figuring out what the cards mean to you, and what the best way for you to read is.

I might be interested in joining this class. I have always wanted to learn about Tarot. I can't get on the internet a ton, but I would try to get on as much as needed.

I'm still working out the format of this class, I think it would likely be about a six week class covering card meanings, spreads, reading for yourself, reading for others, etc. with about a lesson per week. Participation will be important, we will learn from each other, but you will certainly be able to learn even if you can only participate minimally.

There is a tarot class in the Cot Archives, maybe contact the Teacher of that class to make sure she is not planning on doing one anytime soon... Just a thought I would mention.

Actually, this should not be a concern. There is room for more than one class on a topic in CoT. Though it is preferable that only one class on a topic be taught at a time. Each teacher brings their own experience into their class which makes each class "unique".

aranarose, feel free to continue with your class plans. If the other teacher should decide they wish to give their class again they are also welcome to do so. Though I would request it's start time occur close to the end of your class or after yours has concluded.

I'm working on the outline for the class now, and will be submitting that to SwordsFlameSong soon.

The requirements for the class will be basic: a tarot deck of your own, as well as some method of journaling, be it digital or paper. I will have some optional recommendations, such as the Orphalese Tarot Program (which you can get as a free demo with a 3 deck limitation), but it will NOT be required at all. I find the program useful for saving readings, and sharing them over the internet.

Hi there, I have been reading along with the lessons, and I was wondering if the intuitve tarot class would be completed, you are about half way through, and I would really like to see the rest!
