I wouldn't say I incorporate authentic Hoodoo into my practices, but a Hoodoo vibe and attitude? Most certainly. For me, Hoodoo has always been appealing for its overall vibe and/or attitude which I will sum up as such:

"Find what works and use it. Of course, if it doesn't work you're just an idiot cause everything can work! Magic is everywhere, baby!"

Nope. Vodou is a religion that may include magical practice. Hoodoo is a magical practice in which your religion doesn't matter.

Does Hoodoo base it self on Afrian Orixas? I know a bit about these guys, I actually staff blessed by a follower of these sorts of things from Aftica, said to be owned by 3 generations of practicers. Took the guy who made it over 3 weeks of chants and rituals to get it the way he liked it.

Interesting bunch of spirits walk with it, esp last Halloween thing went a but nutty on me...
