My SO and I have had recent talks about our viewpoints in life and general feelings towards our relationship from both perspectives. We thought it would be interesting to view the lines on our palms also, particularly the Marriage/Relationship lines.

We are curious what this means:

On my hand, the line that signifies this current relationship is straight and forks long and the end. A bit before the fork there is a downward curved line.

----<
`

On his hand, the line that signifies this relationship is straight then breaks and becomes straight again. In this absence, there is a line just above it.
_____
---- ------

Any conclusions? We have a guess but I would like to see what others suggest first.

(We also realize that our relationship will probably not last long term and are alright with that. So you will not offend us.)

I'm a total novice at palmistry but i'll attempt a guess from what I have read. Forks I think in marriage lines mean a separation/divorce etc. I don't understand what you mean by a downward curved line. Do you mean there is a branch stemming off the marriage line? If so then it may signify that you will have a child from this relationship.

Broken marriage lines to me are like broken life lines. A sometimes traumatic experience comes about that ends the relationship. If the broken lines overlap a bit as in they run parrallel like this --------____ the relationship may be salvaged. The strong bold line above it suggests a strong marriage. That could be further down the track I guess.

One thing though...how do you know that the lines you are comparing correspond to this relationship? Often people have many lines and so it becomes difficult to say what relationship the lines represent.

Anyway...my pitiful attempt. People who know better are very welcome to tear it to pieces :P
