Is it possible to try to remember a dream from the night before, not right when you wake up but later?
And also is it possible to meditate or sort of hypnotize yourself to see what you saw in a dream from the night before?

I haven't heard confirmation of meditating to recall dreams, but it wouldn't surprise me.
I definately remember them much later in the day, ususally a thought or action triggers it...

I think that's what happened to me tonight but I can't be for sure. When I dream, I tend to have many small dreams or pictures in my head so to speak, it's not just one big dream that lasts for hours.

that's normal, actually I find it easier to figure out the symbolism behind those dreams because you don't get lost in a plot.

I've remembered them later in the day too... like TWM it usually takes some kind of stimulus - something related to the dream - to bring the memory up.

Same for me.
Sometimes something random will make me remember aspects of the dream.
So,
Is it possible to try to remember a dream from the night before, not right when you wake up but later? Totally.
Though it should be noted that you might not remember the whole thing or every detail. I read this:
Five minutes after the end of the dream, half the content is forgotten. After ten minutes, 90% is lost.
(here (http://www.dreammoods.com/dreaminformation/dreamfacts.htm))
And also is it possible to meditate or sort of hypnotize yourself to see what you saw in a dream from the night before?I'm sure it's possible. Though the best thing to do is record them the moment you wake up. :)

I've long wished I could do that. I sometimes know during a dream that I am dreaming but it always seems somehow irrelevant, and I've never been able to actually control what happens.
In answer to the original question, I often forget a dream soon after I wake but suddenly remember it when I get back in bed the next night. The bed must cue the memory or something. I don't know about hypnotism or meditation, but agree that if you want to remember a dream it's best to write it down as soon as possible.
