Help!!!

I always come home from work and sit on my back doorstep every day for a few minutes at least. It was getting to be extremely dull and routine, and I really wasn't looking at the garden but just mulling over work-things in my mind. But this weekend was the first one the weather was good enough to get into the garden and tidy up a bit. Since then, I've been so anxious to get home so I could sit and see all the different things that are happening each day - tulips gradually opening, new growth on my bay tree etc, and the last two days I've been aware of a robin, yesterday on the hedge at the end of the garden and today on the fence much closer to me. I have a deep impression that he is watching me as much as I am watching him!

I'm not sure if I'm being completely daft, but I sense something meaningful in this. My instinct is that it's a message to say, 'welcome back, thanks for taking notice of everything that's happening out here now the blessings of Spring have arrived'.

Any ideas? Please tell me if I'm just being completely nuts!!

do u chat with ur self wen u go back home and sit at the porch? maybe nature is talking to u. i have the samething happen to me sometime and i try to start a conversaytion with nature.8O maybe u should try and talk back wen ever it says welcome back.:sunny:

You are fine, there is absolutely nothing wrong with having a feeling that nature is communicating with you, no matter if it is through a Robin, a flower, Sunshine or whatever. We are all part of the Universe and communication is essential in all things, you happened to be aware of when nature is communicating with you. :)

I agree with everyone here...nature is full of life and spirit and certainly that is communicative!

Just the other day I was outside taking my 4 month old son walking, and the birds were singing and the wind was blowing and I just felt it deep within me...I knew the spirit was speaking all around me. It was beautiful and even my son was paying very close attention when he had been fussing inside. :)

I had a close encounter a couple of years ago, with one of the squirrels that live on the roof of my porch. I was standing on the porch smoking a cigarette (I've quit now :D 2 years and counting), and it was pouring down rain outside.
Suddenly a very soaked squirrel came jumping from the other side of the street, and I watched him as he navigated between the puddles. Usually my squirrels just go right for the telephone pole infront of my house, which is their 'ladder' to get up on the roof. But this little buddy just skiped right up onto the porch and sat down like 2 feet from me!! He shook his soaked fur and then sat there and looked at me for at least 3 minutes, before heading back into the rain and up the pole.

It might seem like a very insignificant thing, but it had a great impact on me...or I wouldn't be telling you about it almost 3 years later :).

Rain or shine, the first thing I do when I get home is to stand in front of my garden. I open myself up mentally & spiritually by imagining myself taking off my "mental" coat. At that point, I can feel all my plants talking & embracing me. It's a nice welcome home. :) I talk to my trees & plants all the time. I comment on how much they've grown that day & other chitchat. I can feel them responding to me. Sometimes, its a wave of feelings & sometimes a vibration coming from the trunk.

BTW, I'm not 100% sure but I don't think robins eat seeds. They like worms & bugs. Maybe thank him for looking after your garden & keeping the bad buggies away.

That would explain why the finches and sparrows are having a field day on the bird table.... I've got a flower bed to dig over this weekend and I'll water it - should bring a worm or two to the surface for the robin!!!!!!

i dont know if any of you could help me but i would be grateful of any information. My problem is i am new to paganism and i was wondering if by any small chance anybody knew of a coven i could go along to and possibly join in the Milford Haven/Haverfordwest area in south wales! Thank you for your time! Any amount of information is greatly appreciated.
