Many Germanic Recons/Ancestralists/Asatruars/Odinists/Theods prefer the term "Heathen" to "Neopagan" and look upon their tradition as "not just a branch on the Neopagan tree" but as a separate tree completely. Heathen views are derived from and revolve around their Germanic ancestors and ones descent from them.

LoL. Thanks Rick, I'll take that. Because of my current German History & Culture class I'm getting ready to add a section on this links list for Germanic History. Everything listed is faith oriented so it's time for a few good history links don't you think?

They're posted, it's only like 6 sites. Look near the bottom.

Thank you la tortuga,

Also, I was sitting here just now previewing the webliography links in my new Europe in the Middle Age class and I came across a good one to add to the History section for the resource links list.

The Western Video Series (http://www.learner.org/resources/series58.html)

This is a "free" video instructional series on Western civilization for college and high school classrooms and adult learners; 52 half-hour video programs and coordinated books.

I just noticed there are no Theodish sites or ones specific to Anglo-Saxon Heathenry. Englatheod could serve both aims. Its URL is http://www.englatheod.org

I had about four of the Miercinga Rice links in the list to different pages until you shut it down and so I have removed them. I just realized looking again today that I still had one of your old links under the organizations lists and just deleted it. I thought this entire time that I had the English Heathenism site on the list but did not and so I added it and the englatheod link too. I was surprised that they were not on the list because I had just advertised both sites in the Asatru & Ancestry thread post 31 (http://mysticwicks.com/showpost.php?p=3634761&postcount=31).
